Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Strength Increase

In the afternoon, Qin Yan led the group to a vast expanse of farmland. Spanning several hillsides, there were at least a thousand mu of land, all overgrown with weeds. It appeared as though the soil had not been turned for a very long time.

This was the perfect opportunity to utilize the land for their training mission. He would have Luo Xuanyi and the others plow the entire area.

The group followed behind Qin Yan with looks of total bewilderment. They couldn't understand why he had brought them to this barren, desolate place.

Luo Xuanyi stepped forward, tilting her small head. Her bell-like eyes stared fixedly at Qin Yan, filled with confusion. "Qin Yan, why did you bring us here?" she asked, puzzled.

Qin Yan scanned the group and let a faint smile play across his lips. He pointed toward the terraced fields covering the mountainside. "Do you see these fields? Your next task is to plow them."

"Plow the fields?"

The confusion on the children's faces deepened. Was this really part of their cultivation? They couldn't wrap their heads around how plowing a field could be considered training.

Growing up in a village, they had all been exposed to this kind of work to some degree, often helping the adults with various chores. If plowing alone could make one strong,

then the adults who worked the land every day should be the strongest people aroundbut clearly, they weren't. This was the source of Luo Xuanyi and the others' skepticism.

Qin Yan saw right through their thoughts and explained, "That's right! However, this will be different from what you're used to. You aren't allowed to use any tools. No hoes, nothing."

"What? No hoes? Then how are we supposed to plow?" Once again, they were struck with doubt. They looked at one another, their expressions practically screaming the question: If we don't use hoes, how is this even possible?

Qin Yan ignored their reaction and said indifferently, "Use your hands!"

"What?! Use our hands?" the children cried out in shock.

Everyone was stunned, staring at him in disbelief. They were expected to turn over this endless stretch of wasteland with their bare hands? He had to be joking.

The land was massive and choked with weeds whose roots were tightly embedded in the soil. The ground was so packed and solid that even an ox would struggle, and an elephant would likely lose a layer of skin trying to break it.

If they used their hands, they'd be lucky to turn over a few clods of earth before their skin was rubbed raw. This was absolute madness.

Except for Little Liya, everyone else was completely dumbfounded.

Qin Yan didn't care what they thought, nor did he intend to change his mind. He stated with absolute certainty, "That's right. This is to train your waist and wrist strength."

Without giving them another chance to argue, he clapped his hands. "Alright, stop wasting time. Get moving. Start training! We still have several more exercises to complete today."

"Yes!" they answered in unison.

With long faces, they finally trudged into the fields.

After an hour of intense labor, Qin Yan called for them to stop and prepare for the next phase. During that hour, they had plowed roughly three mu of land. Little Liya alone had contributed 2.7 mu, while the remaining small fraction was the combined effort of Luo Xuanyi and the rest.

The staggering gap left Luo Xuanyi and the others feeling discouraged, but they didn't give up. Instead, it ignited a fierce fighting spirit within them.

Once the plowing was done, Qin Yan had them carry wooden buckets to a river two kilometers away to fetch water for irrigation. Because time was tight, he only made them do one round trip. Today's primary goal was simply to familiarize them with the entire cultivation routine.

The real training would begin tomorrow.

Evening arrived as the red sun dipped toward the horizon, leaving a layer of pale gold light lingering in the sunset's glow.

Caw! Caw!

A pair of white gulls skimmed overhead, flying toward the setting sun as their busy day came to an end. In the distance, birds chirped melodiously, their high-pitched harmonies bidding farewell to the sun. The symphony of birdsong was even more grand and beautiful than it had been in the morning.

"Alright, that's it for today's cultivation."

"From now on, this is how you will train every day."

"Since we started late today, we're finishing late. Starting tomorrow, everyone wakes up at 4:30 AM to begin training."

The next morning, after Qin Yan led them through an easy fifty-kilometer jog, it was roughly 6:30 AM. After breakfast, he brought them back to the fields. The morning session consisted of plowing, followed by fetching water from a river a kilometer away for irrigation.

By the time they finished, there were still two hours left before lunch. Qin Yan used this time to make them read and play intellectual games. After all, training the body without training the mind was useless; he wanted them to be masters of both the pen and the sword.

However, this proved far too difficult for Little Liya, Luo Fei, and Er Niu. The moment they saw a book, they became drowsy and were soon snoring loudly on the side. Only Xiao Bei and Luo Xuanyi studied diligently.

"Mmh. They truly have the air of future masters," Qin Yan noted with a satisfied nod.

After lunch, they had a break from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Then came the afternoon cultivation: helping the villagers work at the construction sites and mines, followed by swimming and reaction training.

That concluded their full daily training regimen, a routine they would follow for a long time to come. Gradually, everyone's cultivation began to fall into a steady rhythm.

On the tenth day of training, Qin Yan ordered them to wear heavy turtle shells while they worked. This was a deliberate move; he had given them the first few days just to adapt to the intensity.

These shells were rewards from his daily sign-ins and came in different tiers: 20kg, 50kg, 100kg, and 200kg. He had several sets of each. During training, everyone wore the 20kg Weighted Turtle Shells, except for Liya, who used the 50kg version.

There was no helping it; Little Liya was simply too much stronger than the rest. The 20kg shell barely affected her, so Qin Yan increased the difficulty. The little girl didn't complain.

After a month of cultivation, Qin Yan no longer needed to lead them personally. For the morning jog, he had already started making them climb the two towering mountain peaks. It was difficult at first, but as time passed, they slowly adapted.

Another three months went by.

One morning, Qin Yan sat cross-legged atop one of the Twin Peaks. He was silently sensing the laws of the world and nature. The Ki within his body was being drawn out continuously, flowing through his entire being according to the Great Cosmic Orbit.

His cultivation had reached a critical moment: the Grand Primeval Chaos Creation Dao Profound True Wonder Art was about to break through to the second level of the first tier.

Whew!

Qin Yan exhaled a breath of turbid air. As the final cycle of the Great Cosmic Orbit completed, his strength ascended, and his cultivation technique successfully broke through to the second level.

He clenched his fists, feeling the massive surge of Ki within him. He could sense that his Battle Power had now surpassed 50,000 points. Before this breakthrough, his Battle Power had hovered around 24,000.

In just these few months of cultivation, his Battle Power had increased by more than 30,000 points. His rate of progress was staggering.

*[Host: Qin Yan (Saiyan Name: Karlos)]*

*[Age: 4 years old]*

*[Battle Power: 54,618]*

*[Cultivation Method: Grand Primeval Chaos Creation Dao Profound True Wonder Art (First Tier, Level 2)]*

*[Martial Arts: Energy Wave, Kamehameha]*

*[Equipment: Chaos Profound Mechanism Ring (Controllable time flow: 2x)]*

*[Items: Ultra Instinct (36/10,000 fragments), Senzu Beans x140, Weighted Turtle Shells x60, Special Battle Armor x15]*

*[Overall Evaluation: An existence akin to an ant.]*

Qin Yan opened the system and checked his attributes. He hadn't expected his strength to jump so significantly after reaching the second level. What would happen at the third or fourth level? What about the later tiers?

He couldn't even imagine it. The deeper one delved into the Grand Primeval Chaos Creation Dao Profound True Wonder Art, the more powerful and mysterious it felt.

At the moment, however, he was simply happy with the boost in strength. Now that he had reached the second level, his mastery over the Chaos Profound Mechanism Ring had increased. He could now control the time flow inside the ring to be twice as fast as the outside world, granting him even more time to train.

As for the items in his inventory, they were all rewards from his sign-ins over the past few months: fragments of Ultra Instinct, Senzu Beans, Weighted Turtle Shells, and Special Battle Armor.

The Special Battle Armor was a high-tech product forged from special materials. It was heat-resistant, impact-resistant, extremely tough, and offered incredible defense. It provided the wearer with increased protection and immunity to a certain amount of physical and magical damage.

Moreover, it was as light and comfortable as a feather. In terms of functionality, it was quite similar to the battle suits worn by Saiyans and members of the Frieza Force, though the design was slightly different.

Now, the most important task was to consolidate his strength and integrate his power. Actual combat was the only true test for the strong and the fastest way to stabilize one's foundation.

Since no one on this planet was a match for him, he could only enter the space within the Chaos Profound Mechanism Ring and simulate opponents to refine his abilities.

Just as Qin Yan was about to commune with the ring and enter its space, he paused.

Luo Xuanyi, Liya, and the others didn't need his supervision anymore. As the saying goes, "The master leads the way, but the rest is up to the individual." He had already brought them across the threshold; the rest depended on their own persistence and hard work.

Fortunately, the little ones were proving themselves worthy. Even without Qin Yan watching over them, none of them slacked off. They continued to cultivate diligently every single day.

Hmm?

Suddenly, Qin Yan's brow furrowed. He looked up toward the horizon. He sensed a formidable aura slowly approaching Shengzai Village. What's more, the aura felt somewhat familiar.

To prevent any accidents, Qin Yan abandoned his plan to train inside the ring and decided to investigate.

Whoosh!

Qin Yan's figure vanished instantly, leaving only a dark afterimage as he blurred past.
