"Very well! A guest from afar is a guest indeed. Let's change locations to talk. We'll go to the backyard; there's plenty of room there."
Dr. Brief didn't refuse and readily agreed to Qin Yan's request. With that, he hopped onto his bicycle to lead the way back the way they came.
"Great! Thank you so much."
Qin Yan responded with a smile.
"Come along, children," Mrs. Brief added with a gentle laugh.
Qin Yan and Liya nodded and followed behind her.
"I must say, it's quite a surprise. To think that you've already begun interstellar travel at such a young age is truly remarkable."
As they walked, Dr. Brief couldn't help but voice his admiration for Qin Yan and little Liya. In his mind, the two had traveled to Earth across the vast reaches of space in a spaceship. Knowing the countless dangers lurking in the universe, he was deeply impressed by the courage, resolve, and tenacity it must have taken for such young children to make the journey.
"Haha! It wasn't so bad. We just had a bit of good luck," Qin Yan said with a light smile.
"You both look quite strong! How could it just be luck? You must possess some impressive skills to have made it here."
Dr. Brief smiled back, clearly not believing that luck was the only factor behind their interstellar voyage. He was certain they had some extraordinary abilities.
"Haha! You flatter us, Dr. Brief. We're just a little bit stronger than average, that's all."
Since Dr. Brief had put it that way, Qin Yan wasn't sure how else to respond, so he simply attributed it to physical strength. It was the truth, after alltheir strength was indeed anything but ordinary.
"Oh! Hahaha! I see, I see."
Dr. Brief let out a hearty laugh, looking like he had expected such an answer. After walking for a while, the group finally reached the backyard.
Several hemispherical buildings stood in the yard, though they were slightly smaller than the main hemispherical structure at the center of the estate. The area opened up into a vast, flat lawn surrounded by various flowers, plants, and trees.
"This spot should work, young Qin Yan," Dr. Brief said, stopping in the middle of the widest stretch of grass.
"Alright, Dr. Brief. Please step back a bit, and I'll bring it out."
Qin Yan stepped forward and spoke to the couple.
"Very well!"
The Briefs immediately took a few steps back.
Once he saw they were a safe distance away, Qin Yan extended his hand. He focused his mind and delved into his Ring Space, releasing their two miniature, circular vessels.
Bang! Bang!
Two loud thuds echoed, and the ground trembled slightly.
Under the stunned gazes of the couple, two pristine, exquisitely crafted white Space Pods appeared before their eyes.
"Young man, that move of yours is truly magical! It looks a bit like the transformation of our Hoi-Poi Capsules, yet you didn't need any catalyst to release them. I wonder how you did it?"
Dr. Brief was utterly amazed to see two massive circular machines appear out of thin air. It reminded him of his own invention, the Hoi-Poi Capsule, yet it was distinctly different. "Haha! This isn't actually a technological method. It's just a special ability I've mastered."
Qin Yan chuckled at the doctor's words. He knew what the scientist was thinking, but since it wasn't technology, he could only explain it as his "all-purpose" special ability.
"I see. You are truly mysterious and possess extraordinary talent!"
Dr. Brief praised him again, but still not knowing the purpose of the two machines, he asked, "Young friend, what exactly are these two circular objects?"
"These are the Space Pods we used to travel here," Qin Yan explained calmly.
"Wh... what! These orb-like machines are actually spaceships? To have such delicate and compact interstellar vessels... it's truly wondrous!"
Dr. Brief was genuinely shocked. He hadn't expected these tiny circular machines to be spaceships. His curiosity was piqued to the maximum, and he looked at the pods with a look of intense longing. "May I... may I study them?"
"Haha! Of course, Dr. Brief."
"In fact, that's exactly why I came to find you."
Qin Yan laughed heartily, recognizing the investigative spirit of a scientist faced with the unknown.
"Oh? What do you mean by that?" Dr. Brief asked, puzzled.
"It's like this: I would like to ask you to help us build some new spaceships. As a token of my gratitude, I am gifting these two Space Pods to you for your research."

Qin Yan expressed his willingness to wait. He wasn't in a rush, and he had total faith in Dr. Brief's genius. He knew it wouldn't take the man very long to deconstruct the pods.
In the original story, Goku had brought the damaged spaceship he arrived in as a child to Dr. Brief for repairs. Although the ship was too damaged to be fully restored, the core components were intact.
Based on those remains, Dr. Brief was able to analyze and research them, eventually creating a brand-new vesselone that featured a gravity-control system, becoming the famous Gravity Spaceship.
"Fine! Leave it to me, then!"
Finally, Dr. Brief agreed to Qin Yan's request, promising to help build the spaceships.
