Jun tightened his gloves and stood in front of the gravity chamber. Ruhi was still watching him.
"Master…" she said softly, "you really never stop."
Jun opened the chamber door and replied without looking back,"People who stop either get left behind… or don't stay alive."
With that, he stepped inside. A few minutes later, Sanju and Mahi also entered Jun's room. Sanju looked at the gravity chamber and whistled.
"Bro… looking at all this, it feels like you're really going to become the father of aliens."
Jun didn't even look at him.
"Talk less nonsense and train more."
Mahi said directly,"I'll start at 2.7x."
Jun replied,"I'm going for 2.9x."
Sanju raised his hand dramatically,"I want to stay alive, so I'll start with 2.5x today."
"Weak," Mahi said immediately.
"I'm smart," Sanju answered.
A while later, the three of them began practicing in separate chamber cycles. Jun was doing push-ups, handstand holds, explosive jumps, and virtual drills from the Mimic book.
Sanju practiced movement control and sword footwork. Mahi focused on silent combat and reaction drills. Outside, Ruhi quietly watched all of it. After training, Jun told her to sit on a chair and placed his bag in front of her.
"All the samples in this leaves, stones, dried tissues, alien materials… list all of them online."
Ruhi asked,"What name should I create the ID under, Master?"
Jun thought for a second, then said,"Name it… Xrα."
Ruhi opened the laptop. She took photos of every sample and noted their weights. Then she wrote the descriptions:
• Unknown Lunar Soil Fragment
• Rare Toxic Ant Venom Residue
• White Frost Predator Fur Sample
• Unknown Mineralized Shell Fragment
• Electro-Feather Residue
Jun watched her work from the side.
"You're pretty fast at this," he said.
Ruhi replied directly,"Before I was sold, I was trained in many things… including how to serve my master properly."
The room went silent for a second. Jun looked at her. But this time, he didn't show pity.
He just said quietly,"Don't worry. You're safe here now. You're not going anywhere from here."
Ruhi didn't reply. A short while after the listings went live, two buyers sent messages. One was interested in the venom sample and shell fragments. The other wanted the soil and feather residue. Ruhi turned the screen toward Jun.
"Two people are ready. Both want a cash deal."
Jun asked directly,"Do they look safe?"
Ruhi replied,"One seems like an adventurer… and the other looks like a scientist."
Jun nodded.
"Let's meet both."
"Location?" Ruhi asked.
"Public place or beach side."
By evening, Jun and Ruhi left in Frank's car toward the beach. Inside the car, there was a light silence. Jun looked out the window. Ruhi was driving.
"When did you learn to drive?" Jun asked,"And besides that… what else can you do?"
Ruhi replied plainly,"They trained me in all of it."
Then she added,"I can cook, dance, sing, fight, give massages… and I also know how to keep my master happy. However my master wants."
Jun immediately blushed,"No, no no… just leave that topic"
At the beach, the wind was strong. Two separate black cars were already parked there. The first buyer was a middle-aged man. He inspected the shell and venom sample.
"Is this original?" he asked.
Jun looked straight into his eyes,"Check it yourself."
The man fell silent. He handed over the cash and the deal is done.
The second buyer felt dangerous. He had two bodyguards with him. He came for the soil and feather residue. He scanned the sample with a device. Numbers appeared on the screen. His eyes widened.
"This… where did you get this?"
Jun replied calmly,"Questions cost extra."
Ruhi stood nearby, observing everything. The man made part of the payment through transfer and handed over the rest in physical cash. Once the deal was over and they got back into the car, Ruhi asked,"How do you stay this calm all the time?"
Jun leaned his head against the seat,"If you want to handle any situation properly, you need to stay calm. The moment you panic… everything gets ruined."
The next few days were heavy for Jun. Meanwhile, Ruhi slowly began understanding the structure of the house.
Ruhi started doing:
• Getting Shreya ready for school in the morning
• Dropping and picking her up
• Teaching her homework, science, and math
• Listing and updating Jun's samples
• Managing the kitchen and supplies
• Handling buyer chats online
Surprisingly, Shreya became close to Ruhi very quickly.
One day, Shreya directly asked,"Didi… where did you live before?"
Ruhi stayed silent for a few seconds.
Then said,"In Frank Uncle's lab."
Shreya held her hand,"You're going to stay here now, right?"
Ruhi didn't answer at that moment… But her eyes softened slightly. One evening, Jun called Ruhi to the backyard.
"From tomorrow, your training starts."
Ruhi raised an eyebrow,"Mine?"
Jun nodded,"You have a gun, a brain, and driving skills. But your close combat and survival reflexes are weak."
Ruhi asked directly,"Why are you teaching me?"
Jun answered,"So you can protect yourself. And if needed… protect Shreya too."
Over the next few days, Jun taught her the basics:
• Knife hold
• Wrist release
• Pressure points
• Fast reaction blocks
• Low kicks
• Body balance
• Sprint and dodge drills
• Breathing control during panic
Ruhi's body was naturally flexible. And her reaction speed was surprisingly sharp. During one knife drill, she almost managed to catch Jun's wrist.
Jun said directly,"Good"
Ruhi didn't reply. During those 9 days, Mika also came by 2–3 times. Most of the time, she talked about Jun's training and teleport setup. But her eyes stayed on Ruhi more than anything else.
One day, she asked Ruhi directly,"How close are you to Jun?"
Ruhi answered calmly,"Not as close as you're imagining."
Mika stared at her for a few seconds.
Then only said,"Good"
Sanju and Mahi also kept coming and going. Sometimes for training, equipment and nonsense things.
One day, Sanju looked at Ruhi and said,"You look dangerous too."
Ruhi replied instantly,"You look stupid."
From the side, Mahi added,"This time she said something correct."
Nine days passed. Jun packed his bag and started walking toward the teleporter.
Shreya stood beside Ruhi,"Big brother… you're leaving again?"
Jun walked up to her. Placed his hand on her head,"Yes, I'm leaving now. But I'll come back."
Shreya asked softly,"Promise?"
Jun replied,"Promise"
Then he looked at Ruhi,"Take care of Shreya. And… live however you want. No one is keeping you trapped here."
Ruhi looked into his eyes and said,"Alright, Master"
Jun activated the home teleporter and Coordinates locked in. Blue-white light filled the chamber and Jun disappeared. The next second, with a bright flash he teleported back to Icolis.
Jun slowly opened his eyes. He had expected to appear at the same broken ruin as before.
But this time he had arrived somewhere slightly different. The ruin that had been broken, shattered, and half-collapsed from Jun's earlier fall… Had now been repaired.
Broken walls had been rebuilt. Stone pillars stood upright. Fresh metal support structures had been added in some places. Jun slowly looked around. Then, without wasting time, he immediately covered himself with the Red Eye suit.
After that, he jumped down from above. The moment he landed a large group of people surrounded him.
"Who are you?!"
"Where did you come from?!"
"So you're the one who destroyed our shelter last time!"
"Kill him!"
"No, capture him and throw him into the shelter jail!"
Voices rose from all directions. The crowd closed in around him.
