Chapter 172 - The Dress Incident 1

"Tell him we'll interact with the fans waiting to pick us up and the drama's friends first, and then we'll head to KL Television Station together," Fu Shan said indifferently.

*What? An assistant?*

*Look at this guy's arrogant demeanor, I thought he was some big shot.*

*Turns out he's just an assistant from the TV station's publicity department.*

*Tsk, this kind of trash thinks he's all that?*

*What a joke!*

*I wouldn't even give this kind of trash the time of day.*

"Oh, right, right, Mr. Fu."

The accompanying interpreter nodded repeatedly, immediately switching to Japanese to converse with Hirakawa Ichiro.

Unexpectedly, Hirakawa Ichiro waved his hands frantically, his face showing impatience as he jabbered away in Japanese.

The interpreter turned to Fu Shan with a troubled expression.

"Mr. Fu, he says we need to get to KL Television Station immediately. If we delay the promotion, we'll be held responsible."

As he spoke, Hirakawa Ichiro tilted his head back, waving his arms and muttering incessantly.

"What's he saying?" Fu Shan asked, frowning.

Though he didn't understand the words, Fu Shan had a gut feeling this was definitely not something good.

"Uh, Hirakawa Ichiro is urging us to hurry. *Cough*, that's about it."

The accompanying translator smiled awkwardly and coughed lightly.

Heaven knows how rude this little man from R Country was.

The translator, adhering to the principle of "better safe than sorry" and at least not provoking trouble himself, deliberately kept his explanation vague.

After all, if things escalated, it would be a real headache.

Just get through the formalities, finish the promotional event, and head home quickly.

Why stir up unnecessary trouble?

Fu Shan frowned again, about to protest, when Xu Yifei tugged at his sleeve.

"Fu Shan, since that's the case, let's head to KL Television Station with Mr. Hirakawa. It wouldn't be right to delay the official promotion."

Since they were already here, they should cooperate as much as possible.

Still, it was a pity they couldn't interact with the enthusiastic fans and drama enthusiasts who had come to greet them.

With that thought, Xu Yifei cast a wistful glance at the crowd of fans and fans surrounding them.

After Xu Yifei's gentle persuasion, Fu Shan pondered for a moment and nodded.

"Alright. Let's go to KL Television Station for promotion first."

As for these enthusiastic fans...

Noticing Xu Yifei's wistful expression, Fu Shan raised an eyebrow.

*Later, I'll arrange a fan and drama enthusiast meet-and-greet.*

*At that time, we'll invite these passionate fans and drama enthusiasts to interact with us properly.*

With this thought in mind, Fu Shan immediately whispered a few words into Translator Li's ear. The translator nodded promptly and announced in Japanese to the fans and drama enthusiasts who had come to greet them:

The fans and drama enthusiasts looked reluctant but still nodded.

"The TV station promotion is more important! Go, Fu-chan, Yifei-chan!"

"Yeah, yeah, Fu Shan, Yifei, we'll cheer you on."

"Then we'll leave now and won't disturb you two while you work. We're looking forward to the future fan and drama enthusiast meet-and-greet. We'll definitely be there!"

***

Fans and drama enthusiasts, in unison, called out in stilted Chinese.

As they spoke, they had already dispersed, clearing a path for Fu Shan, Xu Yifei, and the main creative team of the *Princess Huanzhu* drama crew.

Reluctantly, they waved goodbye to Fu Shan and Xu Yifei.

Seeing this, Hirakawa Ichiro, standing nearby, began to grumble impatiently in Japanese.

Hearing this, Fu Shan turned to Translator Li. The translator immediately understood and explained, "He's asking if we can leave now."

Fu Shan responded with an noncommittal "Hmm,": "Yes, let's go then."

With that, he took Xu Yifei's small hand and led the group toward the airport exit.

Everyone boarded a large bus emblazoned with the KL Television Station logo, which drove toward the station.

About an hour later,

The group finally arrived at KL Television Station.

Hirakawa Ichiro led Fu Shan, Xu Yifei, and the others to a studio hall, where staff members were busy working under pressure.

A short, stout middle-aged man, surrounded by fawning staff, spotted Hirakawa Ichiro and strode over, barking at him in Japanese:

"Idiot! It took you this long to pick someone up? Why are you only arriving now?"

Facing this short, stout middle-aged man, Hirakawa Ichiro shed his earlier arrogance. Bowing his head in deference, he respectfully bowed to the man and replied in Japanese:

"Minister, it wasn't my fault. These Z Country people are so unreasonable. They refused to follow my orders to come to the TV station immediately and kept dragging their feet before finally getting into the car. You can't blame me for this."

It turned out this short, stout middle-aged man was Ji Yuan, the Public Relations Minister of KL Television Station.

No wonder Hirakawa Ichiro was so deferential to him.

"What? They're still putting on airs?"

Minister Ji Yuan frowned at this. He waved his hand at Hirakawa Ichiro, his assistant:

"Enough. We'll discuss this later. Hurry up and take them to get changed. The live broadcast starts soon!"

KL Television Station had planned to use a live broadcast format to promote the upcoming hit drama *Princess Huanzhu*.

With the live broadcast imminent, Ji Yuan couldn't afford to worry about anything else.

The priority was to successfully complete this promotional broadcast!

Upon hearing this, Hirakawa Ichiro immediately bowed respectfully in agreement. He then led Fu Shan, Xu Yifei, and the rest of the group straight to the nearest dressing room.

"Quickly change your outfits and get your hair and makeup done! The live broadcast starts in minutes! Go, go, go!" Hirakawa Ichiro urged, his voice urgent.

The makeup artists from KL Television Station didn't dare delay. They immediately swarmed around Fu Shan and the others, ready to change their outfits and style their hair.

"Are the clothes in the dressing room? Okay, I'll go change myself. Just a moment!" After a brief exchange with the stylist assigned to her, Xu Yifei nodded and entered the nearby dressing room.

Meanwhile, another stylist pulled Fu Shan aside to start on his styling.

However, the moment Xu Yifei entered the dressing room, she couldn't help but let out a soft "Huh?" The next second, the door creaked open.

In her hand was a dress. The usually radiant smile on her face was replaced by a rare seriousness and coolness. When the stylist turned to look at her, Xu Yifei immediately adopted a stern expression, pointed at the dress, and said coldly, "Is this the outfit you made for me? I don't accept this! Change it immediately!"
