Chapter 171 - Vol. 2 – Chapter 155: Fireworks

Tiger's words echoed in the hearts of every fishman warrior, and their faces instantly flushed with shame.

Of course, a few lowered their heads and spoke fearfully.

"But this kind of battle between monsters… we can't interfere at all…"

Tiger sighed inwardly, but he didn't blame them. Instead, he turned toward the surrounding pirate ships and roared.

"Then go do what you can do! You may not be able to interfere in this battle, but what about these pirates? What about the fishman traffickers on Fish-Man Island? And if you think you're weak, then train harder from now on and make yourselves stronger!"

At that moment, the warriors of Fish-Man Island seemed to wake up.

That's right. They only needed to do what they were capable of.

They might not be able to join a battle between monsters, but these ordinary pirates and those fishman traffickers were another matter.

In an instant, every fishman's fighting spirit surged. Their gazes turned hostile as they stared at the pirates around them.

Meanwhile, the ordinary pirates suddenly felt something was terribly wrong. Cold sweat began to pour down their backs.

Under the protection of the Neptune Kingdom Army, King Neptune rode atop a whale. He looked up at Tiger, then glanced at the excited fishman warriors around him, feeling that he too should do something.

A battle like this was beyond even him. So what could he do?

Just then, he seemed to notice something. With quick reflexes, he pulled a Den Den Mushi from his robes.

"Hello, Immigration Management Office. This is King Neptune."

"Your Majesty, what are your instructions?"

"Listen carefully. Mobilize the air storage depot. Package the air from the exit gate into bubbles the size of Captain Yemu, and send them into the sea surrounding Fish-Man Island."

"Understood! We'll carry it out immediately!"

...

After the attack ended, the seabed gradually returned to calm.

However, at this moment, both Yemu and Barobar were breathing heavily.

It wasn't because their stamina had run out, but because the air inside their bubbles was nearly gone.

With such intense movement, the air had been consumed extremely quickly.

Barobar noticed this, and a sharp glint flashed in his eyes.

"Kid, I have to admit, you've truly surprised me. Fighting me for this long without relying on a Devil Fruit ability… but it looks like you won't be able to last much longer."

Yemu didn't care in the slightest.

"Aren't you the same?"

"Of course not. Did you think I came here without preparing anything?"

As he spoke, Barobar pulled another piece of Bubble Coral from his pocket.

"Bubble Coral can produce both air and bubbles, but its recovery speed is limited. If you want to create a giant bubble big enough to contain a person, it takes about a day. But if you carry several of them, that problem disappears."

With a press of his hand, another bubble appeared beside him. Barobar casually slipped out of one bubble and into the other, as easily as changing clothes.

"So what about you, kid? How much longer can you last?"

Yemu didn't seem surprised. He only frowned slightly and said,

"Don't you have something mixed up? You think a small problem like this could trouble me? Did you forget where we are? This is Fish-Man Island. This is my home ground."

"Of course I didn't forget."

Baroma revealed a sinister smile, the corner of his mouth curling upward.

"Let me give you a piece of advice too, kid. The world isn't as simple as you think. The reason you people can run wild in the Grand Line is only because the World Government has never truly taken you seriously. This world is far more complicated than you imagine…"

As soon as the words fell, Barobar suddenly pulled something out from his clothes and pressed it instantly.

"!!!"

There was no time to react.

A deafening roar exploded through the sea. It was like an undersea volcano erupting. Blazing red flames illuminated the entire Fish-Man Island and the surrounding seabed world.

Those thirty massive pirate ships—even the ones that had already been sunk and shattered—became the source of disaster at that moment.

Countless explosions burst like fireworks…

The pirates aboard those ships had no idea what was happening before they were swallowed by flames and blasts.

The nearby fishman warriors were also dragged into the massive explosions.

Across the seabed of Fish-Man Island, the sounds of explosions mixed with anguished screams.

Seeing his plan proceed perfectly, Barobar could no longer suppress the grin spreading across his face. His nearly insane laughter echoed throughout the sea.

"Hey, hey, hey… did you see that, kid? Now that is the real trump card. Deep-sea bombs!"

"To guard against that lightning ability user's Observation Haki on your side, CP agents secretly installed them. No one knew about it."

"Those idiots are pitiful. They won't even know how they died."

"Now half of my mission is already complete. Next, all that's left is to deal with you…"

"What a shame. If my identity didn't have to remain secret, I'd really like to see the expressions on those poor fishmen's faces when they learn the truth…"

But when he lowered his head and looked at Yemu, expecting to see regret or fury, he suddenly froze.

Because Yemu's expression was unbelievably calm.

It was as if the deaths of so many fishmen on Fish-Man Island, even if caused by him, had absolutely nothing to do with him.

"Interesting. I knew it. If even people from CP0 are this stupid, then what's the point of conquering the world…"

"Huh?!"

Yemu's words instantly stunned Barobar.

He couldn't understand it at all. This was completely different from the personality analysis about Yemu in the intelligence reports.

Wasn't this guy supposed to be full of justice?

So why, after seeing so many people die because of him, did he still look so calm?

No… it almost looked like he was enjoying it.

Was he bluffing?

Just then, Yemu spoke again, a strange smile spreading across his face.

"You seem confused. That's understandable. After all, who in this world truly understands me?"

"Well then. Since you're unwilling to say it yourself, I'll help you out."

As soon as the words fell, Barobar suddenly saw Yemu raise his voice and shout loudly.

"So that's how it is! No wonder a pirate like you dared to attack Fish-Man Island. So you were actually a spy planted by the World Government's CP0 beside Shiki! Sacrificing so many innocent lives just to eliminate me. What meaning does a World Government like that even have?!"

At that moment, Yemu's voice echoed throughout the entire Fish-Man Island.

Inside and outside the island, everyone wore expressions of complete disbelief.

"How is that possible…"

"Hey… is that true?"

"That pirate was actually a World Government agent in disguise?"

"Isn't Fish-Man Island a member nation of the World Government?"

"I told you long ago. Those humans would never truly accept us fishmen…"

"Humans are all the same… whether it's the Sky Pirates or the World Government…"

"You bastard, stop talking nonsense! If it weren't for our friends from the Sky Pirates, Fish-Man Island would've long been taken over by pirates and fishman traffickers!"

"But it's also them who brought disaster to Fish-Man Island…"

...

Barobar stared at Yemu in disbelief. He clenched his teeth and roared in anger.

"Have you lost your mind?!"

"I don't know whether I'm crazy or not," Yemu replied calmly. "But I do know one thing."

"From this moment on, you don't have a future anymore."

Barobar froze.

Then he saw a devil-like smile slowly appear on Yemu's face.

"What do you think the World Government would do to you… if what I just said spreads everywhere?"

In an instant, Barobar's face turned completely pale.
