"Now that we have gotten it out of the way and your mood is much lighter, would you talk to me now?" Sullivan's tone was casual with a hint of humour that made Anna blush opposite him.
When his eyes moved to her bare neck and collar bone she stuttered, the attention of his gaze a frequency she should be used to but never quite able to.
It was demanding. Compelling. Blushy. With an urgent need to focus on him even if he did not expect it.
"Well..I..I um…" He kept his eyes still, fork paused and she blinked, finally taking a gulp of water to melt down the effect of Sullivan's gaze. "I don't speak much."
He raised a brow, daring her to further lie and Anna found herself chuckling. The low sound of it making her place her hand to her chest.
