As both Rebecca and Alexis sat at a table with other classmates who were busy catching up with recent events about their life, both of them felt outcast. Because none of them actually kept any contact with any of them which made them not know most of the details of their life. It's not like they cared much about that. They were more focused on getting an opening and talking comfortably alone.
"Ah, Alex, I think I need to fix my dress a little. The tie somehow got loose from behind. Could you help me?" Rebecca started babbling the first excuse that came to her mind to drag Alexis with her.
"Haha, I knew it. You're always so clumsy. Let's go to the restroom and fix it. Excuse us a little, ladies," Alexis got the signal and got up with Rebecca.
Others sitting at the table exchanged glances between them but didn't say anything.
