"Hey, sometimes they don't even know that they crossed a line. Don't pay attention to them, please," she pleaded sweetly as if they were going to melt in her act like everyone else.
"Are they little babies that they don't know when it's crossing the line or when it's not? Or do you have taken a new job to keep them in check so that they don't go around stepping on everyone's patience," Rebecca didn't seem to care about all that pleading Sophie showed. She had seen enough of the same type of individuals to know very well how their game works.
Sophie's face ashened as she realized it was futile watering on this matter when she was already caught red-handed by them. She stomped on the floor, awkwardly and quite in anger, vanishing on the other side of the hallway.
