There was a long pause before a reply came through.
"Hello, sister."
Navira's blood went cold quickly. Her heart skipped several beats at once at the sound of the voice. She checked the number once again, as if to make sure she was hearing right, before placing the phone back against her ear.
"Delfina."
"I saw the little package you sent to me this afternoon," Delfina said, a smirk on her lips. "And I thought I should return a little something to you."
Navira's phone rang with a text notification. It was from Delfina's phone number, and a video had been sent. She hesitated a little, her thumb hovering over her screen before she played the video.
In the clip were three men, the exact three men she'd sent to kill Delfina tied up with blood stains on their clothes. They looked like they'd been beaten up badly.
An unknown man questioned them about who had sent them and they didn't hesitate to confess, revealing her name.
Navira's fists clenched as she gritted her teeth.
