Chapter 102 - Chapter 102 Harry was concentrating on grilling meat with three Wizards Hands, while Howl leaned back in a rocking chair, swaying comfortably.

"How about barbecue tonight? Let's buy some meat from the supermarket... and fish. Lucifer, stop!"

...At night, outside the house, the Castle was now stopped in an open field. The roars of beasts in the forest were clearly audible.

Harry was concentrating on grilling meat with three Wizards Hands, while Howl leaned back in a rocking chair, swaying comfortably.

Behind him, Howl's pointed ears suddenly twitched twice, catching the faint rustling sound behind the two of them.

"A little fellow is coming over," Howl reminded.

Harry immediately became alert, looking around, but saw nothing.

However, he did not relax his guard. Next to them were herbs to repel mosquitoes. Under such conditions, something that could still sneak up... Just as he was thinking, a dark shadow suddenly shot out from the darkness. Instantly, Harry's heart skipped a beat, and he pushed his hand forward.

With a thud, the large snake suddenly seemed to hit a wall at a hand's width in front of Harry, but this only slowed its attack.

Just as it broke through Harry's Wizards Hand, it quickly swept forward again.

However, the large snake did not open its mouth, but instead rammed into Harry's abdomen. The immense momentum it carried sent him flying backward, making him gasp in pain.

??

Howl was a bit surprised, the magic fluctuations in his raised hand even slightly twisting the air.

However, when he saw that the large snake did not open its mouth or make any biting gestures, he retracted the spell he was about to cast.

"Incendio—" Harry suddenly cast a spell, but the snake's body was extremely agile and dodged it.

Harry quickly got up and took a defensive stance, but unexpectedly, the large snake stopped moving.

Harry was puzzled and watched it warily.

He only saw the large snake coiling its body, staring at him, with no intention of attacking again.

"Uncle Howl, it's a python," Harry said, watching the creature warily.

"No... This isn't a python," Howl propped himself up, looking down at the large snake coiled in a circle. He slightly raised his hand, and an invisible large hand acted on its body. Its mouth was forcibly opened, revealing venomous fangs as long as a finger, looking incredibly ferocious.

"This is a Viper..."

Vipers, the highest evolutionary stage of snakes. All magical snake creatures in the Wizarding World possess the characteristics of Vipers.

However, it was unusual that this size was not the normal size for a Viper; it was even larger than some pythons.

The force it exerted while struggling under his control was also far beyond that of ordinary snakes.

"Clearly, ordinary Vipers don't grow that large," Howl said, his eyes full of doubt: "And... it didn't attack you just now. It seemed... it was simply trying to get close to you."

"Close to me?" Harry was full of doubt. He kept checking himself: "How is that possible? I shouldn't have anything on me that would attract it for no reason, right?"

"No," Howl shook his head with certainty.

With that, he placed the giant Viper on the lawn. When it was freed from its restraints, it slowly crawled towards Harry.

"Don't come closer!" Harry said warily.

Then, the large snake suddenly froze, as if it understood what he said.

"No... that's not right!" Harry reacted, looking up at Howl, his expression somewhat stiff.

"Uncle Howl, did I just... hiss hiss hiss... speak Parseltongue?!"

Howl nodded: "No need to doubt, I think this is what the books call... Parseltongue."

"Isn't that a Slytherin skill?" Harry asked, puzzled, then looked at the large snake again.

"Move back a bit."

This time, English came out... The large snake coiled its body, tilted its head, seemingly a little puzzled.

"You stare at it and imagine you are its kind," Howl reminded, picking up a grilled fish from the grill and putting it in his mouth.

Harry nodded, then looked seriously at the large snake, trying to grasp that feeling from before.

Then—

"Hiss... hiss hiss..."

A moment later, the large snake turned around, slithered several meters backward on the lawn, then turned its head again, coiled into a circle, and watched Harry.

"How strange, does the Potter family have Slytherin blood?" Howl looked at Harry, puzzled.

Then, he suddenly remembered his conversation with Grindelwald last year.

"Slytherin's blood merely blossomed anew in him... This doesn't qualify for a discussion of bloodlines, he's simply a genius! There are geniuses in this world!"
