"Of course," Nina said with a smile.
Ming extended his arms but hesitated for a moment, unsure which cub to pick up first. In the end, he simply swept all four of them into his embrace at once.
Holding the cubs close, he beamed so broadly his eyes nearly disappeared in the wrinkles of his smile.
Reaching into his storage space, he produced a pile of high-grade beast crystals and spirit stones, handing them out to the cubs.
"Here," he said warmly. "These are gifts from Grandpa."
He then took out another handful and passed them to Nina.
"Nina, these are for the cubs that haven't hatched yet. And these are for you—just a small greeting gift."
The cubs turned to look at Nina.
Without their mother's approval, they wouldn't accept any gifts.
Nina shook her head politely. "That's not necessary. These are far too valuable."
"It's fine. Please accept them—it's only proper."
