In the months following the day that the smiling boy with pretty hazel eyes pulled him out of the market square, declaring that he should simply come and live with him instead when he had mentioned that he had no family and no home, Rameses came to a simple understanding.

Where before the run down apartment that he had lived in with his sister and those other people, had been cold and damp with too many dark, cramped spaces; the Seraphall house was bright, warm and utterly devoid of pain.
