"Maria!" called Andrew as me and my family are now walking out of the church after the Holy Mass. I quickly looked for him and saw him behind, making his way towards me and my family. "Glad I caught up with you," said Andrew with a smile. I smiled at him and then I looked back at my family who is now also looking at Andrew.
"Hello there, Andrew," said Dad. "Hello, Uncle,"
"Happy Sunday, Andrew," said Mom. "Happy Sunday, Auntie,"
Please mind that Andrew is not my cousin, but since he and the others are close with my Mom and Dad, my parents told them to call them Uncle and Auntie.
"Spill it out, Andrew." I said to Andrew while I was looking at him. And Simon came, then Jaime and John, and Matthew. "What's happening?" asked Mom. I ask the same as well. These are unusual guys. What are you all up to?"Can we borrow Maria for the rest of the day, Auntie? Uncle?" asked Simon to my Mom with a smile.
Mom and Dad looked at each other, looked at me and then looked at them. "Sorry, boys. Sunday is family day for us. You all know it." Dad answered. I looked at Andrew and whispered, "What's going on?"
"Did you see it too?" whispered back Andrew. Even though his question is vague, I know what he's talking about. I nodded as a response. "What a wonderful Sunday, isn't it?"
Yeshua!"Yeshua!" said Andrew, Matthew and John then all of us looked at Yeshua. "It is indeed." replied Dad to Yeshua. "Yeshua! How are you? It's good to see you here after the mass." said Mom to Yeshua with a hint of gladness traced in her voice. Yeshua chuckled and replied, "I'm good, I'm good." I can't take my eyes off Yeshua and my smile cannot be hidden.
"He's the Yeshua who blessed our household?! I can't believe we're talking about the same person!" whispered Dad to Mom. Yeah, his whispers aren't whispers at all. Yeshua chuckled while looking at me. "He's the one who made Simon and Andrew catch so much fish?" asked Mom to Dad. "Yeah!"
Yeshua now looked at each one of us and asked, "Why are you all gathering by the way?" while He was smiling. The six of us looked at one another then, "Can we borrow Maria for the rest of the day?" Yeshua asked my parents with a smile. I quickly looked at my parents with a concerning look. My Mom smiled then nodded. What? "Yes, yes! Right, honey?"
"Absolutely!" Dad said gleefully. Mom continued smiling at Yeshua. "Just make sure to bring her back home before 10PM," said Dad then smiled briefly and walked away. Mom and Alice followed him. "I can't believe he's friends with Maria!" whispered Dad to Mom as they walked away. I can't believe it. I quickly looked at the boys and I already saw them looking at me with shocked and happy looks then I looked at Yeshua who was already smiling at me.
"Wha-how?" asked Andrew.
"None of us have ever made Auntie NOR Uncle allow Maria to come with us after the Holy Mass," said John.
"Is this what you call a miracle?" asked Jaime.
"Yeshua can read minds, guys," I said to them casually. And out of nowhere. Then the five of them looked at me with widened eyes while Yeshua looked at me with raised eyebrows. "Have you ever thought of telling it to us?" asked Simon. I looked at them confusedly then looked at Yeshua. "You haven't told them?" I asked Yeshua as I raised both my eyebrows. He smiled at me, looked at the others then looked back at me. "Told them what?" asked Yeshua.
I looked at Yeshua with widened eyes. You clearly haven't. Yeshua chuckles while looking at me. "Why is He chuckling?" asked Andrew.
