"Why is He chuckling?"
Simon sighed, Jaime, John, and Matthew looked at Andrew with concerned looks. "Come." said Yeshua with a smile and began to walk. "Where?" asked Matthew as I followed Yeshua, who looked back at us and, "Near the mountains." answered Yeshua with a smile on His face. "Why?" asked Matthew again but Yeshua did not answer him. Instead, Matthew was pushed by Simon so that they wouldn't be left behind.
"Teacher, we're just going to walk?" asked John, making all of us look at him. "Yes, John, we're going to walk there." answered Yeshua with a smile still in His face. "Is walking going to be our transportation in our future exploring, Teacher?" asked Jaime. "Yes, Jaime. Unless we're going across waters we're getting on a boat." answered Yeshua.
"What?" Whispered John to Jaime. "Now, that's a great exercise other than pulling the nets from the water after catching so many fishes." said Simon as he walked proudly with a smile. "Simon! There you are!" all of us stopped walking before we even walked past the church's ground.
We all looked towards where the voice came from and saw Abigail walking towards us. "My love! Why are you looking for me?" asked Simon and then kissed Abigail on her lips. "Well, you looked for Andrew and I wonder why the two of you haven't-" answered Abigail but stopped her words as soon as she laid her eyes on Yeshua. "Uhm…" said Yeshua as He looked at me and the boys and looked back at Abigail. "Hi there." the only words Yeshua is able to say. Wait… don't tell me… are you an awkward one? I asked while looking at Yeshua, He then looked at me and nodded subtly. With His response, I raised both my eyebrows and widened my eyes. What?
"H-hi! Hi! Hello! I'm sorry, are you?" said Abigail as she got back to her senses. "Am I…?" asked Yeshua as He looked back at her. "Yes, dear, He is Yeshua. Our Teacher." answered Simon to Abigail with a smile on his face, making Abigail look at him. "Really?" Simon nodded as his response to her. "Lord, thank You so much for the abundance that You have blessed us." said Abigail to Yeshua as she walked closer to Him with Simon following her. "Well, it's one thing that will make Simon believe." said Yeshua awkwardly, making Simon look at Him with raised eyebrows. "Teacher!" called Simon to Yeshua.
Abigail suddenly laughed, and so we all laughed. Awkwardly. Except for Simon. "It is true. What can I offer you, Lord?" asked Abigail to Yeshua. Huh. It seemed like her eyes were much more sparkly than before."Can we borrow Simon for the day? And please, call me Teacher." answered Yeshua to Abigail. She then nods while smiling as an answer. "Teacher," called Abigail to Yeshua then looked at her husband. Simon then faced Yeshua and asked, "Teacher, if I may, please heal my mother-in-law. She-she has had a high fever for days now and-and we can't afford going to the doctor before your blessing." Yeshua nodded. "Take me to her."
And we arrived at Simon's house but Jaime, John, Matthew, and I were left in the living room while Simon, Abigail, Andrew, and Yeshua went to the bedroom of Simon's mother-in-law beside the kitchen.
"I'll go get some lemonade for you all!" said Simon's mother-in-law and then as soon as she saw us sitting in the living room, she stopped and looked at each one of us. "The four of you are here as well! Maria, John, come help me carry the glasses! Hurry, hurry!" and so both me and John stood up and followed her to the kitchen to carry the glasses of lemonades on the trays.
While Simon's mother-in-law is now making sandwiches, John and I carried the tray with lemonades to the living room. Yeshua, Simon, Andrew, and Abigail are in the living room now so we distributed the lemonades.
"I apologize, this is the only food I am able to make as fast as I could." Simon's mother-in-law apologized as she brought the tray full of sandwiches in the living room. Yeshua smiled and took one from the tray. "Thank you, it is good enough."
