silence had settled heavily.
It was not an ordinary silence.
Even the wind felt as if it was holding its breath.
Anie stood in the middle of the corridor.
Her hands trembled slightly.Between her fingers, air twisted invisibly.
She still didn't understand it.
This power what was it?,How did it work?,In front of her,
Eli stood quietly.He looked calm.
But his eyes were fixed on the far end of the corridor.
Because he could hear something.
Footsteps,not one many.
Hunters had already entered the building.
"They're coming,"she took a deep breath.her chest rose and fell rapidly.
"I'm… not ready for this,"
he looked at her,"People who are Called," he said slowly,
"never get time to be ready."he added softly,
"But they are never alone."
that moment shadows appeared at the end of the corridor.three Hunters black armor.
Energy rifles in their hands they stopped.their scanners flashed red.
"Target confirmed."
"Anie"!!,One Hunter stepped forward.
For a moment,
Anie's heart felt like it had stopped.
"Identification confirmed."
"Subject is a Called."
"Do not resist."He raised his weapon.
"Want to hear some bad news?"Eli gave a small smile.Hunters froze slightly.Eli's voice turned cold.
"We're not going to listen."
next second,,
Eli moved like lightning.
"WHOOSH!"
His body blurred forward like a shadow.
the first Hunter tried to pull the trigger.
But,
"CRACK!"
Eli's hand struck his wrist the rifle fell.
Eli spun and slammed his shoulder into him.
"THUD!",, Hunter collapsed onto the floor. other two immediately fired.
"ZAP! ZAP!"
Blue energy bolts shot across the corridor.he jumped against the wall and pushed upward.
"WHAM!"
He dropped down from the ceiling.
His foot slammed into a Hunter's face.
"CRASH!"
Hunter smashed into the wall.
third hunter stepped back.he shouted into his communicator
"Engaging the target!"
Anie watched everything.
Eli's movements were unlike anything she had ever seen.
This was not the fight of an ordinary human.It was the movement of a trained warrior.
"Eli…"she murmured,
Her hands trembled again.
The air in the corridor suddenly shifted violently.dust rose upward, windows rattled. he turned instantly.
"Anie!" shouts
"Calm down."
"Control your breathing."
She closed her eyes.breath,one,two

more Hunters appearedat the end of the corridor.their weapons were aimed at her.
near the entrance of the buildingR-07 stood silently.he stepped inside his footsteps were slow.but each step felt heavy.he spoke through his communicator.
"Status." voice replied.
"Target engaged."
"Interesting." smiled faintly
"A Called resisting this quickly?"He continued walking forward.
Inside the corridor,the fight grew more intense.
"ZAP! ZAP! ZAP!"
Energy bolts flew everywhere.Eli grabbed one Hunter and threw him into another.
"CRASH!"
Both of them fell.but now there were more Hunters.they were surrounding them.Eli noticed he spoke quietly.
"Anie." she looked at him.
"You need to use your power now."
"I can't." shook's her head,
"I don't know how"
"You do," he said,"You can feel it."
hunters moved closer.their weapons were aimed at her chest.
"Final warning Submit."
at the moment she inhaled slowly.Inside her a storm.It wasn't fear.
It was power, opened her eyes.
"I…" quietly "…won't run."
Her hands rose,
"WHOOOOOM!"
Around her,the air suddenly twisted like a storm.Papers in the corridor flew everywhere. hunters were thrown backward.windows rattled violently,
energy rifles slipped from their hands.
Eli looked at her.
there was a small spark of surprise in his eyes.
"That…" murmured "…is only the beginning."
same moment a new sound echoed
at the end of the corridor.heavy footsteps hunters stepped aside.
R-07 walked forward,he looked at Anie and Eli. light reflected on his helmet.
he stopped.
"Interesting," just stared them in calm
"Two Called."
corridor fell silent again Eli stepped forward.his eyes locked onto R-07.
"You're late,"
"No." R-07 smiled.
"This is only the beginning."replied calmly,
He raised his hand, hunters lifted their weapons again.Anie stood beside Eli.
this time she wasn't running power inside her still churned like a storm.
"Ready?"Eli spoke quietly.
she,thought for a moment.then she nodded.
"Ready."
wind roared through the corridor.
two Called many hunters .and on the other side R-07.he said quietly
"Capture them."!!
next second the battle exploded again.
