Yugen was not surprised. This was a common combo in the GX era, and even in real-life competitive play back then, this thing was everywhere, just like Pot of Greed. The only real difference from the actual card environment was that in the anime, anyone who played it always seemed to have Emergency Provisions ready alongside it.
