Chapter 66 - Chapter 66 They immediately sprang into action.

"Everyone! Get to work immediately!"

"According to the blueprints I drew, sink these three main nets and twelve auxiliary nets all into the water at the entrance of the cove!"

"Remember! Every anchor point, every position of every cable, must not have the slightest error!"

"If anyone's part goes wrong and the fish get away, I'll hang him from the mast as bait!"

Roger's fierce threat sent a shiver down the spines of all the pirates.

They immediately sprang into action.

Under Roger's command, they eagerly began to set up this inescapable net, tailor-made for the black pearl.

The whole process was chaotic.

When Billy was lowering a net, his foot got caught in a rope, and he almost offered himself as the first sacrifice in a "bicycle kick" posture.

Hanson's team knocked the iron stakes, fixed to the seabed rocks, crooked.

He was yelled at by Roger, who pointed his finger at him for a full ten minutes, spitting all over his face.

Jack Sparrow, meanwhile, paced the deck like a headless fly the entire time.

He muttered to himself, his upturned pinky finger trembling slightly from nervousness.

"Oh, Lin, my dear Lin! Are you sure this thing is reliable?"

"I feel like my heart is about to leap out of my throat!"

"It's protesting! It's screaming!"

Jack grabbed Roger, wailing in an operatic tone.

"Then let it hold its breath."

Roger pushed away his smoky-eyed face.

"If you dare to wander in front of my blueprints again, I'll tie you up with that fishing net and sink you."

Elizabeth was also pressed into service, assigned an "easy" task.

Organizing those cables thicker than her waist... Under Roger's command, these pirates sank giant nets, large enough to blot out the sky, to the seabed.

Roger calmly issued commands, transforming the entire cove into a massive trap... By evening, the trap was finally set.

the explorer lay silently in the shadows of the cave, all its lights extinguished, blending into the surrounding darkness.

At the entrance of the cove, the sea looked calm and peaceful, no different from before.

But everyone knew that danger lurked beneath the calm surface.

The atmosphere was extremely tense.

The pirates gripped their weapons, palms sweating, not daring to even breathe loudly.

Only Roger still leisurely leaned back in his captain's chair, sipping his bland plain water.

He looked as steady as an old dog, but in reality, he was also extremely nervous.

"This time, it really has to deliver! Whether I can advance to the Middle Ages depends on this one!"

Just then, a shrill scream, like a duck being strangled, came from the lookout post.

Damn Billy, his voice was just too distinctive!

"Cap... Captain! It... it's here!"

It's here!

Roger suddenly stood up.

Everyone instinctively looked towards the entrance of the cove.

In the distance, on the sea surface, which was tinged silver-grey by the moonlight, the silhouette of a ship was slowly emerging from the thick fog.

It was pitch black, as if condensed from the night itself.

Its sails were tattered, as if scorched by the fires of hell.

A cold, evil, nauseating aura assailed them, even from afar.

black pearl!

The legendary ghost ship had truly arrived!

"My goodness..."

Billy felt his teeth chattering.

"Lights... lights on! Raise the albatross flag!"

Roger picked up the tin megaphone and gave the order.

Instantly, all the lanterns on the explorer were lit simultaneously, dispelling the darkness of the cave.

The flag embroidered with an albatross and a compass fluttered in the wind at the top of the mast, utterly arrogant.

This was no different from a firefly in the dark.

It directly told the other party.

Hey, grandson, your grandpa is here!

The black pearl had clearly spotted them too.

It stopped, like a shark sniffing danger, lingering at the entrance of the cove.

A moment later, a haughty roar carried across the sea breeze.

"Listen, you on the ship ahead! Hand over my gold coins immediately!"

"Otherwise, I will blast your ship to splinters! And I will tear out your bones, one by one, and strew them across my deck!"

It was Barraba!

Roger listened to the full-throated roar and smiled.

He picked up the megaphone and leisurely shouted back.

"Oh dear!"

"Gold coins? Yes, we have them! Do you want them?"

"Come in and get them yourself!"

Roger's tone was so obnoxious it made one want to punch him.

On the black pearl, Barraba roared in anger.

He hesitated for a moment, but ultimately couldn't resist the temptation of the gold coins.

"Full speed ahead! Ram it and sink it!"

The black pearl creaked, accelerated, and charged straight into the cove!

Watching the approaching ghost ship, Roger's face revealed a cruel and excited smile.

"Prepare!"

"Reel in the net!"
