While I was slowly drifting to sleep, Urdon tapped me and woke me up. "Come with me," he said. His eyes were dark, full of desire and promise.
"Not now, Urdon. I am tired and feeling sleepy. Where are we going?" I asked. But I already knew. I could feel it through the bond.
"Somewhere private and unique," Urdon said. "Somewhere we can be alone. Just "US". Trust me, it's going to be fun and exciting, and you'll love the view. I promise."
He took my hand, and we slipped away from the celebration. Nobody noticed us leave. They were all too busy dancing, drinking, feasting, having fun, and enjoying themselves.
We ran into the forest together. The moon was so bright that it lit our path. We did not need to see where we were going. We just ran deeper and deeper until the sounds of the celebration faded behind us.
