Chapter 23 - Sneak an Attack?!!

Next morning, William and his group went to the dinner and had their breakfasts. It was not luxurious like that in their home.

So, Ashley began to complain. While the others didn't care at all.

William didn't care at all. If there was meat on the plate that was already a luxurious enough for him. Though he was now a prince, he'd the memories of his past life as an assassin. In some missions he'd to spend even a few days without food behind the enemy line. So, just eating those was already enough.

"Nah, I'm not eating those. I'll have upset stomach." She complained.

"Do as you like. But there is no royal dinner where we are going." William said sternly. He ate the whole things on the plate and even began to order more.

It was the same for Silver. She didn't care for the royal etiquette at all. She began to wolf down meats after meats using her hands.

Gon the fatty laughed and joined eating with hands.

Wilson calmly ate with his chopsticks.

Seeing that, Ashley snorted pick a small portion of a fried chicken breast and took a bite. The next thing her eyes widen in shock. "Huh, this tasty."

Then she began to pick one meats after another all going into her mouths. She was so quick that her plate was already emptied. She reached out for a piece from next plate which was before Silver.

With full mouth, Silver complained, "Big sister, that's mine. Stop snatching my food. Order yours. I thought you don't even like this food."

With red face Ashley reiterated, "I don't remember saying that. Waiter, bring three more plates."

The others nodded as if they didn't hear her saying the food was not to her liking before.

Now it turned out to be a competition as the two girls began to compete as emptied bowls began to piles up like mountains.

The other three boys looked at them totally surprise as girls were suppose to eat modestly. But the two were eating like some beggar boys who were starved for almost a month.

The competition ended only when the owner of the dinner came out with a nervous smile and announced, "Meats are finished. We're closing the dinner."

The owner walked especially toward their table and bowed.

He gave them a long list of bill. "This is your bill, sirs and misses." He was not afraid they were going to freeload as he knew they were some kids from wealthy families from their attire and demeanors.

William looked at the lists on the papers and read all of them carefully. He added, "Sorry, you left out a plate fried braised pork. So the total balance is 25 silver coins."

He pulled out a small pouch and gave it to him.

"That's hundred. Consider the change as tips considering how my friends here like all of your foods. Prepare more better meals, we are coming here in the evening."

They quickly left the place.

Along the pedestrian, Ashley asked, "Now what?"

She was pointing that question toward William who was their leader.

He didn't respond.

She spoke again, "Just where are we going?"

"Don't know. Just going sightseeing after a heavy breakfast." He responded nonchalantly.

She become angrier. "What?! You!"

William saw her angry face as cute and began to tease saying, "Hey, listen Ash. I'm doing a favor bringing you along here for a walk. You're a lady and after that much meal. If you don't walk you'll become a stout lady soon. And believe me no one going to woo and marry you. You'll spend the rest of your life as grand spinster in the palace looking after our kids and grandkids."

Silver laughed. Gon snickered and even the calm Wilson couldn't help himself and laughed out loud as they were imagining the old her helping their kids in their minds.

Silver screamed, "Ah, you're so annoying."

William gave a look at Silver and she knew what he was sending those silent message.

She rushed to Ashley and said, "Sister Ash, don't mind our brother's words. You're fit and if you grew up like this for the nest two years I believe boys will come after you like bees to their queen."

Her words were suppose to calm her but Ash glared at her and said, "Stop saying those nonsense. We are princesses of the Fire Dragon Kingdom. Stop following the words of this bad brother's of your."

She then turned to Gon who was still laughing and said, "Fatty, with that look, you're not getting a girl in this lifetime. And you are still munching on your snack. My poor uncle, he is never gonna see his grandkids." She shook her head and sighed. Actually she was taking the heat toward him as she had failed again and again to provoke William.

Suddenly they head the loud galloping sound turned and saw a dust cloud nearing them.

Hundred of well armed men were riding those horses.

They stopped before them.

The people around the road looked and they all began to kneel immediately.

"What is going on?" Ashley said looking around.

Gon added innocently, "Isn't that suppose to do only when they met the king and the queen? What is just happening here?"

Among the riders, a middled-aged man wearing the silk robe with dragon designed spoke, "That's natural. Here in this Milky Town, I'm their king."

He made his horse walked toward them and added, "Since you're not following them. I believe you're new in the town. And by the look of you five, you seem to be the one who sneak an attack on my son."

He continued, "You make biggest mistake coming in this town without the permission of Gous Clan. And secondly, you five committed a heinous crime by using violence and sneak attack on my son, that's already enough for all of you to die a thousand death. Guards bring those five to me. Don't kill them quickly. I'll enjoy every moment of this."

Silver felt wrong and shouted, "Sneak an attack! You must be kidding me. Why would I need to sneak an attack on nobody?! Stop uttering nonsense or I'll cut that tongue of yours and make a sight for the entire town."
