As Denu left, the Lights around Light's Mansion became even more alert. Belly went inside as well with Edi.
Fate's Domain, Nao was still inside with Aeni, a knife in Nao's hand.
"There's something on the wall. I couldn't see it but I feel it." Nao aimed the knife at the wall, though there was nothing.
"There isn't anything." Aeni said.
Nao threw the knife. As soon as it hit the wall, white particles erupted from it.
"There was." Nao stepped to the wall, pulling the knife out. "But what was it?"
"Mother, I wanted to ask something." Aeni's fingers fatigued.
"Go ahead." Nao shifted to Aeni even though her focus was on the wall, completely alert.
"Why aren't you asking about Dery?"
"I already know about that, if you don't know." Nao replied.
"You knew? I wasn't able to save him. I am a terrible sister, am I not?"
"You aren't. We can't reverse what happened."
Nao comforted without even knowing the actual reason behind Aeni's self-blame.
A massive, completely blue large serpent was floating mid-air near Niheart. Akutomi and Shishuki stood there staring at the massive shape.
"It isn't attacking." Shishuki stated.
Akutomi picked a spear, his grip tightening on the handle of it.
He landed on its back. No reaction came.
He gripped the handle with both hands, raising it high before hitting it on the serpent's back.
Nothing happened.
He was pushed back as if the back was made of cotton.
The serpent still didn't react. Shishuki rushed to the left side. As soon as she came there, her body started burning. There were eyes all over the left side unlike the right side that was completely normal.
All the pupils focused on Shishuki. She failed to move. The pain was unbearable, even though her screams didn't bother the giant serpent.
"Sis!!" Akutomi raised the spear high again. Some eyes' pupils moved to him. He burned, however, he still hit the spear in its eye.
Not even a scratch was caused by that impact.
Instead, both Akutomi and Shishuki were now fallen, burning, screaming, regenerating, barely able to move. They ended up under the serpent, safe as their muscles regenerated.
"You are stupid!" She said in anger to Akutomi.
"Sorry."
She didn't respond to his apology. Instead she stared at the unmoving serpent's underbelly.
"It didn't get damaged. Should we try punching from here?"
She hit a brutal, overwhelming punch.
Nothing changed. No reaction came.
"I still feel like I am burning. It was like burning my soul."
Shishuki shifted to Akutomi.
"I am here. You go left. Try everything. Let's see what affects it."
Upon her command, he moved, reaching out for weapons. He picked a sword and then launched himself upward, trying to slash the giant serpent.
The sword broke.
Shishuki kept hitting her fists on its underbelly rapidly. The ground below her was cracking. The impact was spreading on ground even though the giant serpent didn't seem to get any harm from her punches.
At the end she stopped, moving outside where Akutomi was still repeating actions of picking, hitting until it breaks without even harming the serpent.
"Shishu, all the weapons broke." He landed beside her, puzzled and surprised because the giant serpent hadn't even given them any reaction as if it was always dead.
"It's time to use abilities." He cracked his knuckles, feeling motivated.
"I'm investigating it until you try things." Shishuki said before she rushed toward its tail.
Akutomi took the stance. He moved his both hands rapidly right and left. That was creating a crushing air pressure directly hitting the giant serpent but it wasn't doing any harm to it.
He still kept going. The environment was shaking from the impact though the giant serpent hadn't even moved even a bit.
"This thing is too tough." Akutomi's hand fell and then he pointed his palm open toward the sky, raising it up. Upon his action a tree started to erupt from Earth itself but it didn't have any branches, just a sharp pin on top.
"Now let's see if it still stays tough."
It hit. A breaking sound started to come. A smile spread across his face then the tree stopped moving upward.
Akutomi lowered his hand. It wasn't even harming the giant serpent. The tree broke.
"Akutomi! Come here!!"
Shishuki called. Akutomi headed toward the direction from where her voice came, to the mouth of the giant serpent.
Somewhere, Liyoku was standing before a woman who had two wings on her back. Perfection, her hair brown, perfectly tied up in a ponytail.
"I am Catemid. Here to kill people, Because Hell is having a shortage and 'The Crown of Hell and Heaven' ordered us to kill people. So Hell could be refilled." She answered uninterestedly.
Liyoku tightened his fists, ready to strike at any moment.
"What kind of reason is this?" He lunged forward, aiming for her jaw.
She dodged, smashing a brutal fist into Liyoku's stomach.
Blood poured out. He moved faster, smashing a kick into her waist. She flew outside the atmosphere.
He launched himself up. He didn't give her time to recover. One more kick landed into her stomach.
She rose higher and higher.
"Your wings seem useless. You aren't even flying."
She vanished before he could process that.
Her hand was already on his throat. The wings behind her moved deliberately.
"You were wrong."
She let go of him, throwing him high. He forged spears mid-air.
However, before he could aim at her, she had already landed her kick into his stomach, throwing him out of Earth. He was out of the Earth even though the spears he had forged pierced through her. She didn't even notice the wounds, they healed.
They both landed onto Earth's moon. She was floating.
"This will be a fair fight." She said before rushing toward him.
He didn't wait. He jumped, landed on her back. She crashed on the moon's surface.
Unable to move.
He grabbed her wings with both of his hands.
"What are...? Don't." She warned despite her anxiety about what was going to happen.
