An Me sat in a chair, staring at the clock in Tim's room. The numbers on the digital clock hanging on the wall turned to 1:00 PM. She sighed and grabbed her bag, opening the door slowly to leave.
Tick! She heard a sound behind her and turned around. A tiny white cube had appeared on the table. It looked as if it were made of paper. She walked closer and knelt to inspect it. She pressed her nails against the box; it was much harder than paper. She looked back at the digital clock. It was now 1:02 PM.
Thinking for a moment, she knelt again and looked under the table. There, she found a hidden trapdoor. She touched it gently. The trapdoor popped open, and a single chocolate fell out. She looked at the clock again—the numbers had jumped to 3:12 PM.
Smiling gently, she sat on the bed and unwrapped the chocolate. As she took a bite, she felt something hard inside. It was a key, tiny and sky-blue. She looked at the cube again and found a small keyhole. She inserted the key, and the cube began to shake, pulling the key inward.
The cube opened like a treasure chest. White sparks flew out, revealing a tiny doll. An Me smirked and whispered, "So, this was a chest the whole time. You weren't going to make it easy for me, were you?"
A mark appeared on the inside wall of the box. Words were written there in black ink. She looked at the mysterious symbols first line:
" ^ (+) : ! <
Then, she read the first line and also rest message:
"I know you will be late today, after celebrating your birthday with your friends or whatever. I know I can't enjoy those things, and that party isn't for the son of a 'novel family' like me. I don't know how you'll judge me, but I'll forget I said this tomorrow. So don't bring these words up. Okay!"
She laughed softly. These mysterious symbols are actually their normal language.
"You found the box, right? Well, of course you did. That's why you're reading my message now. I hope you enjoy this present. And trust me! I used my own money. It's a long story to explain how I got money at my age, so let's just forget that. The point is, this fairy doll is a real limited edition."
She looked at the doll. It had a cute, slightly oversized head and a well-built body. It wore a white coat with a blue scarf tied around its upper body. Its skin was brown, and its eyes were also brown, with three golden circles placed inside—each one larger than the last. A crown of mixed blue and white flowers sat on its head.
"If I'm being honest, I only got the classic version of the limited edition, but luckily, I found out you love the classic and original designs. It really makes me feel relaxed, not gonna lie. Anyway, I prepared this puzzle for you because you never check the time. So come on, Tel (Teacher)... at least watch the clock before you come to my home to teach me. You should be more careful, Tel."
She finished reading and looked at the doll. With a soft sigh and a smile, she stood up. She finished the chocolate and took a paper from her bag, placing it on the table. It was her schedule. Most of her visits to this house were at 3:00 PM: Roe 3pm, Oal 3pm, Ala 3pm, Del 1pm, Map 1pm, Aae 4pm, Puck 9am.
She placed the paper carefully, then walked to the door. She stepped out and walked away. A maid saw her leave and came to close the door gently. The calendar hanging on the door showed that today was "Del" day.
