Chapter 11 - Chapter 1-10: “The Punch That Creates the Crack”

Ha Men looked up. He saw Kin De staring at De Ra Goe. Then he looked at Tim. Tim wouldn't even look straight up. Ha Men saw Tim's upper and lower teeth gritting against each other. Sweat dripped from Tim's forehead onto the floor. Ha Men didn't understand what was happening to Tim.

Tim's eyes slowly moved toward Ha Men. Seeing Ha Men's confusion, Tim closed his mouth and shook his head slowly. Suddenly, Kin De pulled Ha Men up by his collar. Ha Men felt the pressure on his throat; he coughed and yanked at the hand.

Tim: "Put him down, Kin De Soe!"

Kin De's eyes switched to Tim while still holding Ha Men. He smiled. Tim's teeth pressed harder against each other.

Tim: "I—I..." His voice quieted down. "I can explain... please."

Kin De stared at Tim and licked his lips. He pulled Tim up by the back of his shirt. Now both boys' hands and legs were swinging in the air. Tim's face was inches from Kin De's. Kin De laughed, a sound that felt like he was holding back a lot of intensity.

"Well, well, well. Now we're talking." He took out his tongue. "Why did it take you so long to beg? I really hoped for some 'genius move' from you, Mr. Tim."

He shook Tim's body and laughed again.

"But even you..." He looked directly into Tim's eyes with a creepy smile. "...can't do anything in this situation except beg. Which, I must say, this is the most proper move. I'm not gonna lie."

Gail called out to Kin De

 "Stop this nonsense."

Kin De looked at her. Gail was still carrying the massive window.

"I know you're doing your own 'aura sense' thing, but let's not forget about me. I don't want to carry this all day. If you'll excuse me, just move."

Kin De laughed and looked at her fully. "It's not like I'm trying to copy the true Aura from hundreds of years ago. I do things my own way."

He jumped back to the floor. A glass wall shuttered down, sealing the inside of the whole building. Gail cleaned the dust off her coat.

Ha Men watched this happen while his throat was being choked by his collar. His eyes checked on Tim, but Tim gave no reaction. He only saw surrender in Tim's eyes.

Ha Men whispered in his mind: 'Why aren't you doing anything?'

(From now on, the characters' thoughts will be marked with ''_)

Tears of pain began to fall by Ha Men. He was confused by Tim's lack of reaction, so he tried to grab Kin De's hand to stop the choking. Kin De looked at him and smirked.

"Oh, you're choking? My bad."

His voice was purely teasing. Gail looked at him. Ha Men bit his lip and stared at Kin De, his eyes full of confusion and anger. Kin De snapped his head to the side.

"Oh... now someone knows the truth. What a shame. I love seeing people who see me differently. This must be rough on you, isn't it?"

Veins began to bulge on Ha Men's face. His teeth crashed together. Kin De enjoyed this more and more. De Ra Goe saw everything happening and took a step forward. Suddenly, Tim shouted at him.

Tim: "Run away, De Ra Goe! While you can!"

Kin De: "You little..."

De Ra Goe froze. Pissed off, Kin De threw Tim away. Tim's back hit the wall so hard he felt his bones crash, then he fell to the ground. Gail caught Tim immediately. Blood spilled from Tim's mouth onto Gail's hands. De Ra Goe ran toward them but stopped when Tim spoke.

Tim: "Run... run. You don't need to..."

De Ra Goe breathed heavily. Part of his body wanted to move forward, but the other part was against it. Gail placed Tim on her lap and looked at Kin De.

Gail: "He could die from that!"

Kin De: "So what?"

Seeing Tim in that state made Ha Men explode with anger. He grabbed Kin De's hand and kicked him directly in the face. This made Kin De even more furious. He threw Ha Men away. Ha Men blocked the impact by hitting the round wall with his back. He felt the pain in his hands but forced himself not to make a sound. He fell to the ground and tried to stand up from a kneeling position.

But Kin De moved with blinding speed and pinned Ha Men's hand against the surface of the round wall. Ha Men tried to kick, but his legs were pinned too. Kin De pulled ropes from inside his coat and tied Ha Men up.

Kin De: "Stay down, if you don't want to piss me off anymore."

Ha Men's face showed fear at the warning in Kin De's voice. Suddenly, a seat came flying toward Kin De's head. Kin De noticed and dodged it; the seat shattered against the wall. Kin De looked at De Ra Goe. De Ra Goe looked like he was ready to eat Kin De alive.

Gail pressed a button to close the door. De Ra Goe looked at the door and sighed. He stepped back with one foot, preparing for what was coming next. Gail placed Tim on the floor and put some blue liquid into his mouth. Then she stepped toward Kin De.

De Ra Goe ran at them, throwing every seat he could reach at Kin De. Gail blocked one seat with her hand; it shattered into pieces upon impact. Her hand didn't have a single scratch. She covered Kin De with her body. The seats kept hitting Gail, but she just stood there as they turned to splinters.

De Ra Goe finally reached her and punched her in the face. Her head moved back slightly. The impact of his punch was so strong it shook the air. But Gail looked like she had taken zero damage.

Tim tried to speak: "De... De..."

De Ra Goe was still staring at Gail. Gail stared back, not even bothering to move his fist away from her face.

De Ra Goe: "I don't know what you're planning, Tim. But it's not going to work anymore. I ruined it."

Tim whispered: "No..."

De Ra Goe: "Hm?"

Tim coughed: "The route would have been better if you hadn't punched Gail."

De Ra Goe was shocked and looked at Gail. Gail was staring at him gently. Then she closed her eyes. De Ra Goe stepped back.

Ha Men shouted: "Move!"

Kin De came from behind Gail to punch De Ra Goe. He missed, and the floor exploded from the force of his fist. Kin De's eyes looked like a predator's. De Ra Goe jumped high, but Kin De was already in front of him. Kin De caught De Ra Goe by the throat and slammed him into the ground. He used De Ra Goe's body as a footstool as he landed. Dust filled the air as De Ra Goe's body hit the floor.

De Ra Goe choked. Kin De wasn't done. He grabbed De Ra Goe by the throat again. De Ra Goe tried to kick, but Kin De blocked it with his right hand. He threw De Ra Goe into the air and kicked him away before he could hit the ground. De Ra Goe's body crashed through several seats, leaving him covered in scratches.

Kin De rushed him again. De Ra Goe threw a seat while still lying down on the broken seat, but Kin De dodged it with a leg movement and jumped at him. De Ra Goe immediately jumped backward. The seats and floor were smashed to pieces by Kin De's two-handed punch. De Ra Goe tried to kick back, but Kin De blocked it, pulled De Ra Goe by his leg, and punched him repeatedly in mid-air.

Blood sprayed from De Ra Goe's mouth. Kin De grabbed him by the throat and smashed him into every seat they passed as he ran. De Ra Goe's body was covered in wounds. Kin De threw him against the wall, and the wall cracked. De Ra Goe sat there, nearly passed out.

Kin De breathed heavily. De Ra Goe wiped blood from his mouth and looked at Kin De. This made Kin De even angrier. He lunged at De Ra Goe with a deadly fist. Just before the fist hit, De Ra Goe snapped his head to the side to dodge and targeted Kin De's chest with his own hand.

Kin De's fist went into the wall, but De Ra Goe's fist broke Kin De's chest bones. Kin De spat out blood. The speed of Kin De's own attack had boosted the power of De Ra Goe's counter-hit.

De Ra Goe kicked Kin De away and moved toward Tim. His hand nearly reached Tim, but Tim moved slightly, causing De Ra Goe to roll across the floor from his own momentum. De Ra Goe looked confused and stared at Tim.

Tim looked at him: "I have to..."

Kin De sat back up, holding his chest, and moved toward De Ra Goe. Gail noticed what Tim was doing. De Ra Goe tried to stand up but was met with a punch from Kin De. De Ra Goe coughed. Blood began to leak from his eyes, and a lot of pink blood came out of his mouth. He was shocked by the pink blood. He wiped some from his eye and whispered.

De Ra Goe: "Inside punch?"

Kin De smirked. He was wearing a glove. "Ah... now you understand." He approached De Ra Goe. "Even if you're strong, you're still a Second Triangle like me. We weren't born with the extreme durability of the Third Triangle kind."

Kin De activated his glove weapon. "You shouldn't have hit Gail."

Before he could punch De Ra Goe again, Gail caught his hand. Kin De looked at her.

Kin De: "Gail? What are you doing?"

Gail: "Stop this." She pushed Kin De toward Ha Men.

Kin De shouted: "We have a deal!"

Gail looked at him: "You're already done."

She looked at De Ra Goe and came closer.

De Ra Goe: "Ms. Gail Soe?"

Gail sighed: "I'm sorry, kid."

She grabbed De Ra Goe by the head and slammed it into the floor roughly. Everything turned to dark.
