Chapter 2 - A teacher

"OK, well first I need to try something." He said, focusing on his body and mentally saying (One for all 25%)

As Jason focuses, Toki watches intently, sensing the sudden surge of power emanating from him. His muscles tense and release in a rhythmic pattern, and his aura shifts—becoming denser and more potent. She recognizes the signature of a powerful Quirk activating. "What is that?"

"This is a special power I have. It's called one for all."

Toki steps back, her eyes wide as she feels the overwhelming pressure radiating from him. "That power... it's unlike anything I've ever felt." She murmurs, almost to herself. "It feels ancient, layered... as if multiple souls reside within it." She watches the veins on his arms glow faintly with power. "How much of this can you control, Jason?"

"Best 45% And you're right about the multiple souls part you see it's a stock piling power and also carries the souls of the previous users. I'm currently the basically the 9th."

"Stockpiling power... and carrying the souls of the previous users." Toki repeats, her mind racing with the implications. "So, this 'One For All' Quirk not only grants immense strength but also imbues you with the knowledge and experiences of those who came before." She takes a deep breath.

"More accurately I can talk to them if I meditate or I go to sleep and they decide to call me."

"Communing with the previous users..." Toki muses, her orange eyes thoughtful. "That's an incredible advantage. They could guide you, train you even..." She pauses, studying him carefully. "But 45%... that's still not enough to challenge Kaido or the All-Stars." She crosses her arms. "are there any other "quirks" I should know about??"

"Yes, actually Blackwhip

Originally belonging to the 5th user (Daigoro Banjo), this quirk allows me to generate tendrils of dark energy from my body. It is highly versatile, perfect for grappling, capturing opponents, and web-swinging for mobility.Float

Passed down by the 7th user and my predecessors mentor, Nana Shimura. This straightforward ability allows me to suspend myself in the air, hover, and move freely in three dimensions.Danger Sense

Belonging to the 4th user (Hikage Shinomori). This functions similarly to a spiders ability to sense danger, allowing me to detect nearby threats or attacks before they happen, providing a nearly instantaneous reflex to danger.Smokescreen

Passed down by the 6th user (En). This quirk lets me generate large clouds of thick purple smoke to conceal my movements, obscure opponents' vision, or create cover to escape." he paused, letting the information sink in.

As he listed off each ability, Toki's expression grew more and more stunned. By the time he finished, her mouth was slightly agape. "Jason..." She whispered, shaking her head in disbelief. "You're not just a Powerhouse... You're a tactical nightmare."

"Yeah, I could beat most people and I haven't gotten to my two most broken abilities yet." He took a deep breath before continuing. "Fa Jin

Belonging to the 3rd user. This quirk allows me to repeatedly build up kinetic energy through normal movements. When released, it provides explosive, superhuman bursts of speed and striking power.Gearshift

Originally the Quirk of the 2nd user. This powerful ability allows me to alter the speed and acceleration of anything I touch—including myself or objects—effectively defying the laws of inertia." he finished

Toki's eyes widened even further as he revealed the last two abilities. "Fa Jin and Gearshift..." She repeated the names softly, understanding the sheer power they represented. "With those two alone, you could outmaneuver and outpace almost any opponent." She paused, her mind racing with strategies.

"yes, but I still wouldn't be able to beat Kaido. His haki's is too powerful. And so is his durability."

"Correct," Toki confirmed, nodding gravely. "Kaido's Conqueror's Haki is immense. His physical durability is also legendary—he's survived the most devastating attacks imaginable. Your Quirks are powerful, but raw strength and indomitable will are Kaido's greatest assets."

"which is why I'm going to need a very good teacher in haki."

"A good teacher..." Toki echoed, a small smile playing on her lips. "You need the best. Someone who has mastered all three types of Haki, someone who understands the nuances of battle, someone who can guide you in harnessing your Quirks alongside Haki training."

"pretty much."

"Well then," Toki said, her smile growing wider. "It just so happens that I know someone who fits that description perfectly." She paused dramatically before continuing, "Someone who was friends with the legendary Whitebeard himself." She stepped closer to him, meeting his gaze intensely.

"And who would that be?"

"Dracule Mihawk," Toki revealed, watching his reaction closely. "The world's greatest swordsman and master of all three types of Haki. He's always been selective about taking students, but..." She trailed off, considering something. "He owes me a favor."

"How?"

"Let's just say I helped him out of a tight spot once," Toki said mysteriously. "He won't refuse me if I ask him to take you under his wing." She paused before adding, "But there's a catch." Her expression turned serious again. "Mihawk is... intense."

"oh, I know he is. Do you know where he is?"

"Last I heard, he was on the Sorbet island," Toki replied, nodding. "It's a small island in the East Blue, known for its hot springs. Mihawk is said to frequent the springs there to maintain his sharp reflexes." She thought for a moment before continuing, "I'll write you a letter of introduction."

"Thanks,"

"Don't thank me yet," Toki warned with a small laugh. "Learning from Mihawk won't be easy. He's known for his brutal training methods and high expectations." She handed him the sealed letter bearing her signature. "But if anyone can handle his intensity, it's you."

"I'll leave in a few days once I'm packed."

Toki nods, her expression calm. "Take your time. There's no rush." She turns to leave, pausing briefly at the entrance of the chamber. "And Jason... be careful. Kaido's eyes are everywhere. The World Government has eyes everywhere." She glanced back at him. "Wano is isolated, but Kaido has his connections."

"He doesn't even know I exist."

"For now," Toki corrected him, her tone firm. "But word travels fast in this world. Use your time wisely—train, prepare." She placed her hand on the door before pausing one last time. "And Jason... don't think too lightly of Mihawk. He'll know everything about you the moment you stand before him. Even things you forgot yourself."

"I promise to treat him with respect."

"Good," Toki said approvingly. "Mihawk values respect and discipline above all else." She stepped out of the chamber, the moonlight fading as she disappeared down the cave passage.

The next few days passed quickly. Jason spent his time organizing supplies—food, water, basic medical supplies, extra clothing.

Standing before a mirror, Jason took a moment to really examine himself. The reflection showed a man who bore striking resemblance to Izuku Midoriya, but hardened by years of stockpiling power. The dark-green hair remained fluffy and untamed, but his physique was entirely different—broad shoulders, thick neck, and heavily muscled arms that spoke of overwhelming raw strength.he looks to be in his 17 to maybe 16s.

The cool cave air rushed against his face as Jason stepped outside, adjusting the pack on his shoulder with a sharp motion. The morning sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the rocky landscape of the cave entrance. Everything felt different now.

The quiet stillness of the morning was interrupted by the rustle of leaves, then footfalls. Toki was standing there, arms crossed.

"OK, do you have a compass?"

"Of course," Toki replied, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a small, intricately designed compass. She handed it to Jason with a serious expression. "This will guide you to Sorbet Island. It's enchanted to point true north regardless of magnetic interference."

"Thanks hopefully I'll be strong enough by the time I come back to beat Kaido." He said floating into the air he flew into the night sky leaving Wano quietly

As Jason disappeared into the night sky, Toki watched him go with a thoughtful expression. She knew the journey ahead would be grueling, both physically and mentally. "Beat Kaido," she whispered to herself, a small smile playing on her lips. "Ambitious, but possible."
