The 'Invisible' Kitchen Knife cursed spirit, which is more translucent than transparent, was a Cursed Womb formed from the group of newly awakened sorcerers' fear of the invisible murderer, who has been killing them with a kitchen knife.
Instead of each sorcerer become Cursed Spirits due to getting killed without Cursed Energy, due to the proximity, the Cursed Energy accumulated to form a Cursed Womb.
And given the time Kashimo wasted, it fully evolved into a Special Grade Cursed Spirit.
It's instinct is to murder anyone and everyone in its path. But the person in front of it had way more Cursed Energy than it. And due to the group of sorcerers considering Tachibana their leader in this death game, it instinctively considered Tachibana to be very strong.
It even instinctively feared Tachibana trapping it into some objects, like he had done with Curse Honjo.
So, it decided to go all out from the beginning.
Due to being made of the souls and memories of the people it is made of instead of being a conventional newborn Cursed Spirit like Mahito, it understood what should be the peak of his Cursed Technique, Kitchen Knife, which allows him to control kitchen knives made of Cursed Energy.
"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Knife Works."
A domain barrier made of translucent body of the Cursed Spirit itself instead of a conventional barrier opened and trapped Tachibana and Teruhashi.
And so, knives from all directions started raining down on them from the barrier.
Tachibana grabbed Teruhashi, who still hasn't recovered much of her Cursed Energy, and let out his Cursed Energy envelop them to protect them from the attacks.
Tachibana, due to being a reincarnator, has Cursed Energy level similar to Yuta. Moreover, he isn't manifestating a Queen of Curses like Rika.
Moreover, the he has a calming effect with his Cursed Energy, calming down the killing intent of the Cursed Energy coming in contact with him and making it less effective. So his defence against the knives is good even without Anti-Domain techniques, but it wouldn't last for long.
Tachibana was trying to think about his Inner Domain for achieving Domain Expansion.
'Think! Think! Think!
Even if I die here, I will probably reincarnate as a Cursed Spirit without losing my sanity due to my technique.
But, Teruhashi's body will not survive to reincarnate her back.

Just then, a knife managed to chip away at his defence and hit him in the back.

Teruhashi used Sakura's healing jutsu on him, and at that moment, Tachibana Yosuke reached a form of enlightenment somewhat similar to Gojo Satarou, though not on his own but with Teruhashi's help.
Teruhashi doesn't know Reverse Cursed Technique. But she is cosplaying as Sakura, and is using healing jutsu with her Cursed Energy.
How does it work if her healing jutsu isn't providing positive energy?
It works by multiplying her Cursed Energy with the target's inside the target's body, converting their negative energy into positive, giving the effect of Reverse Cursed Technique.
And the moment Reverse Cursed Technique with majority of it being made of his own Cursed Energy ran through his body, Tachibana Yosuke instinctively copied the way their Cursed Energy was multiplying, to multiply his own Cursed Energy by imagining it (-1/2 unit) × (-1/2 unit), hence converting his entire 1 unit of Cursed Energy into 1/4 unit Reverse Cursed Technique.
And the moment the Cursed Energy surrounding Tachibana and Teruhashi was converted into Reverse Cursed Technique, Kitchen Knife's Technique was disrupted and it's Domain, made of his own body, collapsed.
"Arrghhh!"
It screamed, the positive energy having destroyed 95% of its body. It was only able to survive because it cut off himself from the body the rest of his body which was forming the domain.
Moreover, while the Cursed Energy of Tachibana had a calming effect, his positive energy was the terror of True Death, the feeling of a death which will kill the unkillable immortal soul and prevent it from entering the cycle of reincarnation.
Teruhashi started shivering with the terror she felt, and Kitchen Knife started crawling to run.
"I understand it now."
Tachibana muttered as he let Teruhashi on the ground, and approached the Cursed Spirit trying to flee in terror.
Tachibana Yosuke looked at his energy overflowing through his body, which has transformed from white to black.
His Cursed Technique is [Reincarnation].
A soul is immortal. Even if someone dies, their soul enters the cycle of reincarnation. And the soul continues to reincarnate until it achieved Nirvana and ceases to exist.
That's why the Cursed Spirit in the mall couldn't be reincarnated after the 3rd time.
He now understood what his Domain Expansion should be, but right now, he was going to use the Cursed Technique Reversal of [Reincarnation].
It will be to return the soul to its previous state instead of the next state in Reincarnation. And if applied to the maximum, a clean slate as the starting point where a new soul is born.
He put his hand on Kitchen Knife, and applied his Cursed Technique Reversal.

Kitchen Knife, a Cursed Spirit which is an amalgamation of the souls of the dead members of the group, reverted to individual souls in the process of becoming Cursed Spirits.
"Reversion."
And using it again, they reverted into human souls, though they have lost most of their strength and have become very weak due to trauma, and can no longer wield Cursed Energy more than a window.
Tachibana Yosuke walked and tried to heal the destroyed bodies that were caught in the Domain Expansion, but could not heal them well enough to be vessels.
Reverse Cursed Technique is way less effective outside of body on others.
He couldn't hold the weak souls for long, as they began to disintegrate and enter the cycle of reincarnation.
He can't bring them back to proper life in time. Not without putting them into new bodies that will snatch the lives of others.
Entering the cycle of reincarnation won't heal their trauma, but it will carry on in their next lives until they loose their soul strength and achieve Nirvana.
Letting them suffer like this will be too cruel.
So, Tachibana Yosuke decided to revert them to their pure starting state, without any trauma and recover their full soul strength.
"Cursed Technique Reversal Maximum: New Soul."
The souls reverted to their beginnings, to a clean state when they were just newborn souls. Their Cursed Energy becoming massive, but loosing any characteristics and negativity.
The purest form of Cursed Energy, colourless and without any feeling, was observed for the first time.
