After reincarnating in 1998 Japan, Tachibana Yosuke lived a fulfilling life for 20 years, without realizing that the world he was in was anything but normal.

While waiting for the trains to start running again after an 'earthquake', to go to Shibuya to celebrate Halloween with his girlfriend, he was suddenly caught in the Culling Game, and awakened Cursed Energy and Cursed Technique 'Reincarnation'. 

Realising that his girlfriend has most likely died in Shibuya, he vowed to survive this death game and get revenge on Sukuna and Kenjaku.
