I gave him grace and dropped the attitude. He was trying so hard and what he did didn't make me love him any less. 


I was happy, grinning from ear to ear as I stretched my arms and let the sun shine on my face.

My heart thumped with each notification I cleared. 


I was trying to stay calm, telling myself it wasn't what I thought. I thought if I cleared them, I wouldn't have to worry about them. 


I put my phone down for only a few seconds before I picked it up again in a panic. 


I opened Twitter first. My name was everywhere. People were laughing at me, saying I got what I deserved. Others praised Leon for finally seeing the light.
