Ellen was forced to accept Bastian's invitation rather than face public humiliation. She gripped his right hand tightly as she walked toward the couples' dance area. She silently apologized to Flint for indirectly rejecting him. She had promised to dance with him someday.
Ellen could tell the difference between dancing with Flint and Bastian. Previously, even though it was her first time dancing with someone, she was very confident in physical contact with Flint and moving her feet to the beat. However, now, when she danced with Bastian, her body moved very stiffly, as if she didn't want to dance with another man.
"Ellen, as I thought, you are not good at dancing."
Ellen smiled awkwardly, averting her eyes. "I'm sorry if I couldn't dance to your expectations."
"I understand. Because you've never acted in a romantic drama before. That's why you've never learned to dance from anyone."
