Three days had passed, and Ellen was actually starting to grow bored of being confined to this luxurious residence. She wasn't allowed to work, even though her body had recovered. Every time she tried to tidy up the house, she was barred. She wasn't even allowed to cook. This boredom left her confined to watching TV or playing games on her phone.
Ellen continued to pout, once again only able to open her phone, scrolling through her social media to see what was happening out there. Having been accustomed to going out and about despite her illness as an actress, she now felt like she was locked in Rapunzel's tower. Instead of receiving VIP treatment like a queen.
Flint entered his room carrying a tray of porridge. Seeing his lover's pouting lips, he smiled faintly. He slowly walked over to her and placed the tray on the bedside table.
"Why are you frowning?"
Ellen folded her arms. "Why do you still ask when you already know the answer?"
