It's been two days since Hailey and Hardin's kiss. Hailey has been avoiding him endlessly because she couldn't bring herself to face him.
She was so embarrassed, she claimed to hate him but she kissed him so passionately.
She was mad at herself for kissing him and enjoying it.
Yeah.. that's why she was so embarrassed and mad at herself, she enjoyed the kiss and the worst part of everything is that she craved for more.
In order not to fall into such situation again she decided to stay away from him, she would wait till he had gone to work before coming out of her room and she would go to her room as early as 6pm before he comes back from work.
Right now it is almost 6pm and she is stuffing her hands with late night snacks and drinks before going to her room.
She didn't want any situation that would force her to come down and meet him.
She finished and she turned but she was shocked to see Hardin staring at her.
How did she not hear him enter the house and why was he back so early?
Hardin's eyes dropped to the things on her hand and she also looked down.
"Are you planning on running away again?" Hardin asked and Hailey blinked.
"No" she managed out.
"You have been avoiding me, why?" Hardin said as he walked closer to her and Hailey quickly dropped everything she took on the kitchen counter.
"I will be in my room" Hailey said and made to walk past Hardin but he held her and pinned her to the kitchen wall.
"You haven't answered my question" he said, his gaze intense and Hailey swallowed.
A wave of desire rushed through her and she cursed herself inside, he was too close for comfort and it's affecting her badly.
"I'm not avoiding you, just trying to keep myself busy" Hailey replied and Hardin raised an eyebrow.
"You know that's a lie" he said, his eyes dropped to her lips and Hailey noticed it.
Oh gosh, she should definitely push him away right now or a repeat of what happened before will happen again and she didn't want that but her body wouldn't move.
Her heart raced rapidly, threatening to jump out of her chest.
"I can see the lust in your eyes, is that why you're avoiding me?" Hardin said lowly as his face inched.
Hailey couldn't say anything, her throat was too dry to utter a single word.
Hardin leaned in further and kissed her.
'Damnit, I'm hopeless' Hailey screamed in her head before reciprocating the kiss.
She wrapped her hand around his neck and pushed in closer for more as he devoured her mouth.
His tongue pushed for penetration and Hailey opened up, giving him access.
He pulled Hailey out of the wall and she wrapped her legs around his torso and he held her, carrying her towards the kitchen counter and dropping her on it.
Hailey's hands went under his shirt and he did the same, she moaned loudly in the kiss when his fingers brushed her nípples.
"Wrong time to visit" Faye's voice was heard and Hailey quickly pushed Hardin away.
She arranged her top properly and got down from the counter to face Faye and Mark, Hardin groaned angrily behind her.
Faye had a smile on her face and Mark looked surprised.
"Should we just come back tomorrow?" Faye asked.
"Yes" Hardin replied and Hailey glared at him, her cheeks still flushed.
"No," she said and walked up to them.
"That's good, cause that would ruin everything I planned for tonight" Faye said and Hailey paused.
"What are you talking about?" Hailey asked and Faye chuckled.
"You'll see," Faye said and looked at Mark.
"Prepare yourself" Mark mouthed to Hailey and Faye glared at him.
"Come I will tell you" Faye said and dragged Hailey towards the living room couch.
"Take your wife and leave"
Hardin said in annoyance as he walked towards Mark.
"You know that's impossible, she would never listen" Mark said and Hardin scoffed.
"It seems both of you are getting along fine, very fine infact" Mark said and Hardin glared at him while he chuckled.
"You're going to love this," Faye said happily.
"What am I going to love?"
Hailey asked suspiciously, her body still burning.
"We are going to play a game, get ready to lose." Faye said.
"I'm not interested" Hardin said and Faye frowned at him.
"You don't have a choice," Faye replied.
"Just go along with what she wants, you know Faye is relentless" Mark whispered to Hardin.
"What are you planning?" Hailey asked and Faye smiled.
"Thank you for asking, we are going to have a cooking competition" Faye said.
"No" Hardin Said walked upstairs.
Faye glared at Mark and he sighed before following Hardin.
"Why a cooking competition at night?" Hailey asked in confusion.
"Because it's fun, and it's the only time Mark has away from work, he's a workaholic" Faye replied and Hailey nodded.
"I don't think Hardin would do that" Hailey said and Faye smiled.
"We would see about that" she smiled and Hailey gave her a confused look.

A few minutes later, Mark came down with Hardin who had an angry look on his face.
"That took longer than expected" Faye said as she got up going towards the kitchen.
Hailey wondered how Mark managed to get Hardin to do this, he doesn't look happy about it so it seems Mark threatened or forced him.
"Hailey and Hardin are a team then me and Mark, winner does what the other couple wants" Faye said and Hailey nodded.
She didn't have any problems with cooking, after all she was tortured with cooking by a chef for quite a while.
"You can cook anything you wish but first we have to clean the kitchen cause who knows what you both have been doing in this kitchen"
Faye said and Hailey's face flushed.
