After the earthquake passed, Cruxco went to the Commence chamber for a meeting, followed by the other faction leaders, including Liufer.
The Commence Chamber was a grand, circular room with a large, ornate table at its center. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings depicting the history of the Moonshire Dawn Sect, and the air was thick with the scent of incense and magic.
The chamber was lit by a series of floating candles, their flames dancing in the gentle breeze that whispered through the room. The table itself was made of a rich, dark wood, polished to a mirror-like finish. It seemed to glow with an inner light, as if infused with the wisdom and power of the sect's leaders.
Cruxco took his seat at the head of the table, his eyes surveying the assembled faction leaders.
Liufer took his seat to the right of Cruxco, his expression calm. The other leaders nodded to each other, their faces grave with concern.
"Greetings." Cruxco said, his voice booming through the chamber. "I called this meeting to discuss the recent phenomenon, anyone who has discoveries?"
Liufer's eyes swept across the table, and then decided to talk "We've helped strengthen our defenses, none died but there's still some casualties. However, I believe this earthquake is not a natural phenomenon."
Liufer's words made the other leaders frown and gasp. No one doubted Liufer's words, because among the people inside the chamber, he's the oldest and has the most knowledge about the ways of the world.
"Not a natural phenomenon?" ask by one of the faction leader
Liufer nodded and said "The energy fluctuations of the land is unusual not like a natural earthquake at all, but i don't know where its coming from." Liufer said while in a deep thought, processing and thinking of what is the possible cause of that phenomenon.
"Then we need to investigate immediately, we need to find out whether it's dangerous or not for our people." another leader added.
The meeting was a flurry of discussion and debate, with each leader offering their thoughts and insights. Cruxco listened attentively, his eyes narrowing as he weighed the options.
"I'll send my son to investigate." he said finally, his voice firm. "For now, fix the damages in your own factions. Meeting adjourned."
The leaders nodded, rising from their seats as they murmured among themselves. The meeting had been intense, but they knew they had to act quickly to address the mysterious earthquake.
After all the faction leaders leave, Cruxco was now the only person in commence chamber, waiting for his son.
The messenger that rushed off, returned moments later with a young man in tow.
The young man, was dressed in a black and golden robe, his aura screaming a dangerous elegance that made people afraid of talking nor go near him.
"Why did you call for me?" he asked coldly, his eyes narrowing as he look at his father.
"The sudden earthquake needs to be investigated, and I'll let you handle it." Cruxco said calmly while looking at his precious son.
"Alright, is that it?" he raised an eyebrow, his expression unchanging.
"Yes." Cruxco nodded, a hint of warmth creeping into his voice. "Oh, and your mother misses you, so go to her later." he added.
his son nodded, and his expression softening for a moment before hardening again. "Yes, father, I'll take my leave now."
As he turned to leave, his gaze swept across the landscape, his eyes seeming to pierce the darkness.
He was a tall, lean young man, with piercing silver eyes and jet-black hair. His features were chiseled, his face a full of calm ice elegance. He's a powerful charmer, feared and respected by his peers and loved by the older generation.
He's Rycrux Crestford.
