Chapter 2 - CHAPTER ONE: ERROR — EXISTENCE NOT FOUND

Darkness. Not the kind that comes with night…

but the kind that comes with nothingness.

No sound.

No light.

No time.

Only the faint echo of something that should have been.

Then—

A fracture.

Like glass cracking across an endless void, thin white lines spread through the darkness. They pulsed, flickered… glitched. And something breathed. Not air. Not life. But existence. His eyes opened.Light flooded in—violent, blinding, wrong.

He staggered back instinctively, raising a hand to shield himself. The sky stretched endlessly above him, painted in soft blue and drifting clouds. The wind brushed against his skin.

Warm.

Real.

Impossible.

"…What… is this?"

His voice came out hoarse, like it had never been used before. He looked down at his hands.Pale. Solid.Existing.

For a moment, he simply stood there, unmoving, as if reality itself might reject him if he did too much.Because something was wrong.

Terribly wrong.

A flicker appeared in front of him.

A translucent window, trembling like a dying flame.

Then—It glitched.

[SYSTEM INITIALIZING…]

[ERROR]

[ENTITY NOT RECOGNIZED]

[ATTEMPTING RECOVERY…]

[FAILED]

The window distorted, its edges breaking into fragments of white static before collapsing into nothing.

Silence returned.

The boy stared at the empty space where it had been.

"…System?"

The word felt… familiar.Too familiar,And yet—

He couldn't remember why,Memories surged

Not complete. Not whole,Just… fragments.

A throne of darkness.

A world burning.

A hero standing against him.

And above it all—

A presence.

An author.

Something that wrote. Something that decided.

Something that created—

…and deleted His breath caught "…Deleted…"

The word slipped out before he could stop And suddenly Everything clicked "I… was supposed to be something."His voice was quieter now.

Colder.

"I had a purpose."

Images flashed behind his eyes—

A devil.

A calamity.

The final enemy.

" I was meant to exist."

His fingers trembled slightly as he clenched his fist "But I don't."

The wind passed through the open field, rustling the tall grass around him birds sang in the distance.

Peaceful.

Perfect.

Like a world untouched by chaos.

Like a story already in progress without him a slow smile formed on his lips not warm not kind but curious "So… the story continued."His gaze lifted toward the horizon Far away, beyond rolling hills and distant forests, he could see it.

A city.

Large. Radiant.

Alive.

The center of something important.

"The hero is probably there."

The thought came naturally too naturally like a script he was never meant to forget his head tilted slightly "…And I was supposed to stop him."

A pause.

Then a quiet laugh "But I don't feel like it." Something shifted deep inside him not a memory not a thought but a command.

Code: Null

The world… responded.

The grass beneath his feet flickered.

Not burned.

Not crushed.

Erased.

Tiny squares of white static spread outward like a disease, consuming the ground in unnatural silence the air warped the sky above him distorted for a split second—like a broken screen trying to refresh he froze. Then slowly…He raised his hand.

"…What is this? The space around his fingers bent slightly, like reality itself couldn't fully process him.Tiny fragments of light broke apart and reassembled.

A realization dawned slow terrifying

Exciting.

"I'm not part of this world."

His glowing eyes sharpened.

"I'm something… outside it."

He clenched his hand. The distortion intensified a small section of space in front of him shattered into white noise before snapping back into place "…I can break it."

Silence followed.

Heavy.

Waiting.

Then he smiled not as a devil not as a villain but as something far worse "Or…"He took a step forward, the ground glitching beneath his feet "…I can rewrite it." Far away, in the grand city at the heart of the world a boy stood before a crowd.Golden light surrounded him a sword of brilliance rested in his hand.Cheers echoed through the streets "The chosen one!" they called him "The hero of prophecy!"

Above the sky something watched.

Satisfied.

Certain.

Because the story was perfect.

Everything was in place everything except the one thing that had been erased back in the empty field, the boy looked toward the horizon towards the hero.

Toward the story that continued without him."…Let's see how long your world lasts." And with that the deleted devil began to walk.
