"Stop calling her the girl, that girl.... You know her name, it's Kiara Miracle," Fionn scowled.
"Anyway, I don't know if I still want to chase her. Instead of making her fall for me, I find myself falling for her. She obliterates my sanity." He scoffed.
"You two looked cute as you hugged last night. You mean you are giving up on her?" Ethan asked.
"Why not?" Fionn huffed. "I've lived for all these years without her; why can't I continue living?"
A sarcastic laugh escaped Ethan's lips. "You are just living in denial." He said, continuing to laugh in sarcasm.
"Admit it, you just can't continue chasing her because it hurts your ego."
"Don't piss me off." Fionn snapped.
"You'd better focus on the road; we might as well get into an accident," Ethan said as his gaze locked with Fionn's.
Fionn slowly turned his gaze to the road, and suddenly, the car stopped, which sent Ethan yanking forward. Thanks to the seatbelt, he would have fallen out through the windscreen.
He blinked in confusion as his brother parked the car on the side of the road. He looked in the direction where Fionn's eyes were glued, his own gaze locking on the girls ahead.
Kiara and another girl who bore a striking resemblance to her were walking into the shopping mall. Probably, she was one of the other sisters his brothers had talked about before.
"This is the only chance I've got to talk about the lawsuit; she didn't allow me to say a word about it last night either," Fionn said as he hurriedly got out of the car.
Ethan couldn't help but giggle in amusement. Here was a man who, a few minutes ago, declared giving up on chasing Kiara, but now his actions said otherwise. "Wait on," He called out amidst giggles.
The two men followed the women into the shopping mall. They followed closely as the girls moved from one section to another, switching between bag stores, to shoe stores, accessories stores, and eventually, when they came to a grand clothes store, the men had secretly followed them around for an hour.
Fionn and Ethan stood watching as the girls selected several items of clothing from the display lines.
"How do you think we should approach them?" Fionn asked curiously; however, he didn't get a reply from the other guy.
He turned to look at the guy who watched Kayla, with bright eyes and a soft smile. "Another innocent soul catching the devil's eye." Fionn huffed at the sight.
"Hey, I'm asking." He said as he slapped the back of Ethan's head.
Ethan came back to his senses. "Who... who..is.. Who is the other girl?" He stammered.
"From the look of things, that should be Kayla," Fionn replied.
"How come it's only me who doesn't know about them?" Ethan asked.
"Something happened back then, and when I was about ten, we stopped going to their home. Their parents just wanted to keep them unknown to the public. Back then you were so little to remember." Fionn said.
"I see."
"Anyway, that doesn't matter. I just want to talk to Princess alone."
They had to make a move; they had followed the women for so long and were already fed up, so they had to come up with a plan to reach out to them.
As Fionn was still contemplating how to reach out to them, Kiara got some clothes from their selection and walked towards the changing room. This was it; it was the right time for him to make his move.
"Take care of Kayla," Fionn instructed as he moved towards the changing room.
__________
Kayla stood busy checking out a dress when she felt a presence behind her. Ethan leaned forward, resting his head on the girl's shoulder, a smile appearing on his lips.
Kayla tensed, her heart pounding hard against her ribcage. She tilted her fear-stricken face to the side, her eyes landing on a smiling man's face. "Who are you?" She muttered, her words delayed by the fear in her tone.
"You need not fear." Ethan chuckled.
"I'm Kiara's friend. I guess you know her."
Kayla sighed in relief after finding out it was one of her sister's friends. Though she didn't know who exactly he was, at least he wasn't just some random stranger. He wouldn't do anything wrong to her. She didn't mind; she would find out later.
"I'm Kayla, Kiara's sister." She said her voice calmed. Ethan straightened up, removing his head from the girl's shoulder. He felt happy that she felt at peace around him, even though she barely knew him.
She turned, facing him, her long, silky hair falling freely around her face, elevating her beauty. She looked at him, their eyes locking, which forced a shy smile on her lips, exposing her milky white teeth. She looked away, trying to hide her smile.
"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. "I'm Ethan," He said.
"Ethan." She repeated her soft voice, echoing through his ears.
___________
Fionn stood perplexed at the door that Kiara had entered, his thoughts racing between getting inside and waiting for her outside.
"I'll push, if it's open, I'll get in; if it's locked, then I'll wait for her outside." He pondered. He gave a deep sigh before pushing. Surprisingly, the door lay open.
He remained utterly stunned, his face pale and mouth open as he processed what lay before him.
There stood Kiara, barely dressed, her smooth, fair body covered by a nicker and a bra. She struggled as she tried to remove the dress that had gotten stuck on her head, covering half her face.
He watched her lips, fighting the urge and feeling that forced him to touch her. He struggled as his hand uncontrollably moved close to her lips, but quickly yanked it away when they parted.
"Kayla, is that you?" She asked. "Help me out, the zip is stuck. I can't remove the dress."
Fionn tensed, all his senses screaming for him to leave the room. But how could he leave her in such a situation? He had to make a decision, one that would earn him the title of a pervert.
He slowly forced the zip open, helping the girl remove the dress, the distance between them not even an inch apart.
Kiara opened her eyes to a towering figure. She looked up, her eyes locking with Fionn's as the two stood still, rooted in place like statues.
She blinked as she watched the guy standing in front of her, her body brushing against his. For a moment, she was out of her senses, only wondering how he had gotten there in the first place.
However, watching from the dressing-up mirror, she got back to her senses when she realised she was naked. She screamed at the top of her voice, catching the attention of the people around.
"Scram, Perv." She yelled, pushing him off his feet, which brought him falling out of the room.
But as he slammed his way to the floor, he managed to get hold of one of her arms, which sent her following him to the floor, eventually landing on top of him.
