Kiara woke up to familiar sorrounding but couldn't quite understand why. Her gaze wandered around and finally landed on the guy who lay beside her, his eyes glued to the screen of his phone.
Then it clicked, it was her apartment. Fionn, sensing her movement, broke the focus on his phone and turned to her with a smile.
"You are awake?" He said.
Seeing his smiling face, it all came pouring like a broken dam; the events from the previous night flooded her mind. Her sister? Where was she?
"Kayla?" She blurted, forcing her sore body off the bed, but failed.
"She's fine," Fionn muttered as he placed his phone away. He helped her to a sitting position and then handed her a glass of smoothie.
"Take it. It will help."
"What is this?" She asked curiously.
"It's a hangover smoothie. Don't worry, it's a recipe from a person I trust. My mother."
