In a hotel suite, Brendan lay on the bed his hand draped around Juliette. She lay her head gently placed on his chest. They were half covered. Their upper bodies were exposed.
Juliette slowly traced the outlines of Brendan's abs. Nothing was said between the two. They just lay there enjoying the peace the moment had to offer.
"How was your night?" Brendan finally spoke.
"The best I've had. I couldn't ask for anything more. Sleeping in your arms is all I wanted. And you gave that to me last night." She said without sparing him a glance.
"And how is your morning?"
"The best I've had. Waking up and your handsome face is the first thing I see. That's how I would want my mornings to be like."
"Then why don't you let it be so for the rest of our lives?" He said with a sigh.
She turned and looked at him. Her hands folding over his chest as she lay on top of him.
"You said you wanted to talk."
