Within Beast King Mountain, the howls of canines rang out without end. Eight colossal hounds, each towering dozens of meters high, sprinted across the mountain range, all heading toward the same destination.
Ruo Feng stood among them, balanced atop the head of the Ghost-Faced Mastiff King, the fierce wind whipping against his clothes.
A trace of shock lingered in his heart.
In just a single day, the entire Canine Clan had broken free of their seal—and even evolved.
No matter how he thought about it, the only explanation pointed back to the "trash" he had thrown down yesterday.
In the blink of an eye, the Ghost-Faced Mastiff King arrived at the exact location from the day before—the dumping site.
Ruo Feng stared ahead, disbelief flashing in his eyes.
"How is this possible…? The trash I threw down yesterday—how could it all disappear overnight?"
What had once been barren wasteland had transformed into a lush stretch of grassland. Several young saplings stood proudly amid the greenery, already thriving.
Husky spoke up, his tone thoughtful.
"Master… we don't know what this place used to be like. But the source of that strange energy came from here. The first to evolve was the Ghost-Faced Mastiff King. Perhaps he sensed something."
As one of the more intelligent members of the clan, Husky had already pieced together some clues. Just yesterday, the Canine Clan had been restricted by the seal. Today, the seal was gone—and every one of them had evolved.
It was far too strange to be coincidence.
Ruo Feng nodded slightly and turned to the mastiff beneath him.
"What happened after I left yesterday?"
The Ghost-Faced Mastiff King fell into thought before replying slowly:
"Master… I'm not entirely sure. The trash you discarded began releasing a special kind of energy. It gradually intensified. I couldn't resist and rushed into the pile. Inside, I found a human corpse. But it was strange—it was slowly decomposing. As it broke down, that strange energy grew stronger and stronger.
"I evolved within that energy… eventually becoming what I am now. But when I tried to look for the corpse again, it had vanished. Not just the corpse—everything you threw away disappeared. Only the metal objects remain."
His voice carried confusion.
Ruo Feng looked into the distance. There lay a heap of steel—and an eighty-percent-new Lamborghini. Those were the only remnants left behind.
Rubbing his forehead, Ruo Feng muttered,
"That should be it… The reason for your evolution must be the RR Virus."
The world of Swallowed Star had once been driven into apocalypse by the outbreak of the RR Virus. Two billion people had died—but those who survived gained physiques several times stronger than before. It wasn't just humans. Animals and birds evolved as well. In fact, their growth was even more terrifying.
In the early stages of that world's catastrophe, the mutated beasts had been far more frightening than humanity. Under the ravaging influence of the RR Virus, ordinary animals had become monstrous creatures beyond imagination.
The Canine Clan had clearly undergone the same process. The RR Virus from the Swallowed Star trash had allowed them not only to break free from the seal placed by Uchiha Madara, but also to evolve.
Ruo Feng shook his head.
"There weren't any deaths among the clan, were there?"
After all, in the world of Swallowed Star, countless animals had perished before evolution stabilized. Only survivors gained strength. He couldn't help worrying.
Husky quickly replied,
"Master… when that energy reshaped our bodies, it was painful. But the seal seemed to offset much of it, allowing us to evolve safely. No members of the Canine Clan died."
Only then did Ruo Feng relax slightly.
Every single member of the Canine Clan was loyal to him. Losing even one would be a serious blow. Besides… he simply loved dogs. He didn't want to see them die needlessly.
He narrowed his eyes.
"The RR Virus explains your evolution. It came mainly from the Swallowed Star trash. But why did all the trash disappear? Even the items from the Battle Through the Heavens world are gone. This barren land has turned into fertile grassland overnight…"
He murmured to himself, unable to fully piece it together.
The RR Virus causing evolution made sense. The trash from Swallowed Star naturally carried viral remnants. Though he was still puzzled as to why he himself hadn't evolved, the Canine Clan clearly had.
But the disappearance of the trash remained a mystery.
The Ghost-Faced Mastiff King spoke again:
"Master… while I was evolving, I vaguely sensed the earth devouring the trash. And those saplings there… they seem to have grown from seeds among the discarded items."
Before he finished speaking, Ruo Feng leapt down, landing lightly on the grass.
What had once been lifeless ground was now covered in vibrant green. Simply standing there, he could feel an overwhelming vitality emanating from the land.
He walked toward the saplings and the unfamiliar wild plants sprouting nearby.
"Yesterday's trash came from three worlds: The Grave Robbers' Chronicles, Battle Through the Heavens, and Swallowed Star. If seeds appeared, they must belong to one of those worlds. And now they've taken root in the world of Naruto…"
A faint smile curved his lips.
If medicinal herbs from Battle Through the Heavens could grow here, then he might possess an endless medicinal field. And in the future, if seeds appeared within the trash again, perhaps he could cultivate them himself.
Just as he was lost in thought, the sled dog—who had been silent until now—spoke up.
"Master… I think I know why the trash disappeared."
Ruo Feng immediately turned toward him.
Among the eight perfectly evolved canines, his personal favorite was still the Ghost-Faced Mastiff King—a breed akin to a Tibetan Mastiff. Back on Earth, he had always wanted one. Unfortunately, purebred Tibetan Mastiffs were far too expensive for him to afford.
Still, he had a fondness for Huskies and sled dogs as well. Especially the Alaskan Malamute type—intelligent and capable. On Earth, sled dogs were often used in rescue operations.
Now, Ruo Feng looked intently at the sled dog.
"You know what happened?"
The sled dog nodded.
"I am the only one in the Canine Clan who possessed intelligence before being sealed. The others were born after their wisdom had already been sealed. Those who once had intelligence but were later sealed mostly passed away over time.
"That makes me the only one who knows the clan's hidden history."
