Chapter 4 - Chand Scroll

"Who said I was dead?" was said by someone who was ancient enough to make history meaningless as he stood by the doorway.

A man with mint green hair and black eyes was surprised by the sudden presence of the person in front of him. He quickly got up and with a radiant smile and said in honey coated voice

"Welcome to my humble kingdom... The Red Moon."

The Red Moon just gave a polite smile which didn't quite reach his hazel eyes and slowly sat down in front of the mint haired man.

"Have you found it yet?" asked the Red Moon.

The mint haired man seemed nervous as he said in an unsure voice "No...but we tried"

The Red Moon just sighed and said in an ice-cold voice "King Lucifer... If you can't find it until Night Polar, then don't expect me to help you with anything."

The mint- haired man was king Lucifer, the king of Aleria, who had reached out to the impossible to approach Red Moon. His intentions were always on the point and this time those intentions were to kill the future Emperor of his enemy Empire, Crown Prince Isaiah.

Even though the Red Moon had no business in the rivalry of these two nations, he did have business when it comes to one thing, The Chand Scroll. An ancient scroll which contains the knowledge about the Chandni dance but... It had been declared lost for over 10 years... which The Red Moon certainly didn't like and when the king of Aleria reached out to him saying that the scroll was in one of the temples in his empire. The Red Moon did certainly agree to help this nation.

"See... If you can't find it, then just tell me the location. I will reach for it myself and I will also help you."

"Well about that..." muttered king Lucifer, his voice growing weak. After all, King Lucifer now knew fully that he can't keep the Red Moon like this for long. Not to mention that even though he had the location of the Scroll, he can't reach it. Since the temple is not actually in his kingdom... It is rather in his enemy's empire.

Red Moon took a scroll which was placed in the table as he said "Yellow Scroll, huh? So you have the time and energy to find a mythical scroll, which was not even in your kingdom. But you can't find my Chand scroll?? How interesting... isn't it?"

King Lucifer finally gave in and decided that it will only be useless if he kept his act of having the scroll. So, he stood up and bowed down as he said in a sincere voice " Sorry... For lying to you... The scroll is not in my kingdom... It is in the mountain of Hellon..."

And before King Lucifer can even finish his sentence, The Red Moon disappeared just like he appeared but strangely, when King Lucifer finally looked up. There was a thing on the door knob.

It was a golden pendant.
