Within a minimalistic yet sophisticated flying vessel, four figures could be seen, one big one at what appeared to be a control station, and three not so small figures seating with the straps of their seat over their bodies..
"We'll be arriving at border town within the hour" Cassius spoke up, not lifting his face from the controls of the aircraft..
"And why exactly are we heading towards border town and not directly towards misty mountain" Leon asked..
"Because you're not the only ones tasked with taking down that spawned nest"
"There are others as well?" Damien asked..
"Yes, after all, border town only has one official aura master overseeing it, despite being a bridge between waves empire and our Aeldris empire"
"The request for aid was sent to everyone nearby, currently there are multiple young geniuses planning on tackling that nest, and I believe that's what the general meant when he sent you to take down that nest" Cassius concluded..
Yea I'm not so sure about that teach~~~
Raiden and Leon thought in amusement, seeing their clueless supervisor not understanding just how crazy their family was….

Suddenly an electronic voice, sounded out, followed by images depicting what could only be considered a slaughter fest..
On the holographic screens, a horde of goat headed demons, could be seen razing what appeared to be a local village down, mothers, children, old, young, none were spared..
They were killing and devouring as if at an all you can eat buffet..
Seeing the screens, Raiden, Damien, Leon, all had their expressions twisted into pure fury…
They might not claim themselves heroes, but seeing something like that, seeing human lives being treated like cattle, the kids' hearts chilled in cold fury..
"Take us down" Raiden uttered voice devoid of emotion..
"No can do, that's a peak tier 2 baphometh leading the horde, my job is to oversee this mission and make sure you come out unscathed, so we first rendezvous at border town" Cassius spoke up firmly..
"What?????" Leon and Damien exclaimed..
"People are getting butchered and slaughtered, and you talk about rendezvous?" Damien was livid, who was this plebeian???
"Look, kids, I know it seems harsh, but sometimes you have to learn to sacrifice the few for the greater good, you can take this as your first on field lesson" Cassius spoke with the calm of someone too used to this situation..
"Forget this nonsense, I'm taking charge, Authority Override"….

First you want me to group up with peasants, okay, fine, you're the supervisor..
But now this???? You want me, Raiden Agares, to tuck tail and run???? From fucking livestock?????ME!!!!!!,
"Forget this fool," for the first time since joining the tyrant's abode, Raiden showed insubordination "I'm taking charge, Authority Override" his cold voice rang out, FINAL!!

A scanner dropped from the roof of the aircraft, red light scanning his frame…
Identity confirmed..
Override approved..
Awaiting commands..
And just like that, Cassius found himself stripped of control of the vessel..
"Wha…what???"
"Reposition this vessel right above the most powerful demon" Raiden spoke up, standing from his sitting position…
Repositioning…..
"Raiden, stand down, that's an order" Cassius ordered coldly..
"Sorry teach, but order denied" Raiden smiled coldly, "restrain target, Cassius argen"..
Restraining target…
Immediately thick chains burst out from the sides of the vessel, with suppression force, they bound themselves tightly around Cassius' limbs, rendering him obsolete…
Target restrained successfully…
"Wha..what!?" Once again, Cassius was left speechless..
Repositioning successful..
Raiden walked towards a hatch right below where the demon should be, thousands of feet below…
"Open the hatch" he ordered…
Hisssssss
With a cold hiss, the hatch opened up..
"Raiden do not do this" Cassius tried one last time, but Raiden ignored him…
"Hey ogre" Raiden called out, catching the frantic Leon off guard..
"What is it you narcissistic bastard" he growled, still fussing over the combat gear that refused to come on..
"Keep up!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" and with that, Raiden jumped straight out the hatch, beginning a free fall from thousands of feet high, straight unto an unsuspecting demon..
All Leon heard was Raiden's deranged laughter, "dammit, get us down, fast!!!" He yelled at the vessel's Ai, still fumbling with the combat gear, "hey wuss, better hurry up if you don't want that guy hogging all the fun" he directed his irritated voice toward Damien…
With a growl, Damien started fussing over his combat gear too, "I'm not a wuss"..
Beeep…
The same scanner appeared, and after scanning Leon's profile,
Beeep.. identity confirmed..
Order acknowledged…
Descending….

Buzzzzzz(you're crazy!!!!)
"Hahahahaha, EVE!!!, I promised you a stage, well this is our opening act," Raiden laughed, ignoring his sword's protest..

A/N: this is just a feeling he gets from his sword due to his overwhelming affinity with swords, eve is not truly conscious, at least not yet….

The moment Raiden appeared outside the aircraft, his skill {Solare Empowerment} kicked in, his muscles bulged, his skin gained a golden hue, his wildly flailing hair gained a tint of gold, his already intense golden eyes seemed to glow with the light of twin supernovas….
His grip on the handle of the sword strapped behind him tightened as he slid it out of the sheathe, pointed the tip downward, his body becoming completely straight as his descent picked up speed, the wind tearing at his face and body, friction causing the casual clothes on him to start burning away, and through it all,
"Hahahahahahahahah!!!!! YESSS!! This is the LIFE!!!!" Raiden was having the time of his life..

Down below, a 3 meter tall goat headed demon watched as his underlings tore through the helpless village, it's beady black eyes glinting with something of a cruel satisfaction, something that looked closely similar to a smile gracing its elongated goat's face..
Suddenly, a faint sound, like the whistling of the wind reached it's ears, and curiosity tugged at his nerves, and so, he looked up….

Raiden, seeing the silhouette of the demon getting closer and closer, tightened his grip on his sword…
"Say hello to my little friend", with a crazed smile, the tip of the blade plunged directly into the demon, evaporating its existence into nothing but blood mist, and then, all hell broke loose!!!!!
