The earth imploded and then,

A concussive shockwave blasted outwards, it flattened everything, from the point of impact, like a wave spreading destruction and despair,

Buildings crumbled, demons were massacred left and right, if there were any survivors (there weren't, that's why he was that reckless) then they'd probably been swept up by the shockwaves..
Raiden wasn't spared either, at least not initially, for the moment his blade collided with the floor, the recoil of the collision blasted his newly tempered to perfection skin and body into tiny bits and fragments, his treatment wasn't much different from the the demon, only he immediately regenerated before the damage could fully register…..
It took a good 5 minutes for the shockwaves to settle, and within this time, the others, Leon, Damien, and a suppressed Cassius finally arrived..
And what they saw chilled their hearts..
"Wha…Wha…" Damien's throat became dry…
Sighhhh~~~~ that brute is still as scary as ever…
Leon thought with a helpless smile, they'd known each other for almost a decade of existence, and since he'd been aware of reality, he'd never known Raiden to have the word subtle in his dictionary, and this just proved it..
Meanwhile, Cassius was just stunned speechless, what is this, he knew the boy was monstrous but this???
All they could see was destruction, Destruction and more DESTRUCTION!!
Everything was leveled, flattened, turned into a wasteland from just one strike, it was a scary sight..
Surely he couldn't have survived the landing right?..
But before the thought could even settle,

The dust was forcefully blown back as Raiden appeared high in the air…

Within a massive hundred meter wide crater, Raiden agares could be seen consoling his sword,
"Sorry sorry, I didn't expect the impact to be that bad" he said, holding his blade with one hand, and dragging the other over its blade in a soothing gesture..

"I know it was reckless, hehehe, but you gotta admit, it was awesome no?" He grinned, a wide, innocent yet feral one..
Buzzzzz(no comment, humph)
The sword wasn't going to let him get away with this one easily…
Sigh~~~
Sighing ruefully, he shook his head, gave the sword a swing to get the remnants of dust off of it…
And then, he hefted the over 10 ton's worth of force unto his shoulder, something that required straining earlier, now being more than manageable with {solar empowerment} working passively..
Standing to his now 6ft height, due to his technique, his toned upper body bare after his clothes got burnt to crisp, he looked up, calculating how deep he was, he flexed his muscular thighs and then booom!!!
He jumped!!!

As the group surveyed the surrounding destruction, with a wooosh, Raiden appeared overhead, his form as immaculate as it was, in fact, with the golden sheen his body and hair had gotten, he looked even more breathtaking…
Thud!!
"That was fun" he stressed…
And then he sat down cross legged, right in the middle of the destruction..
Time to finally cultivate dammit…
He thought in excitement..
Yes, he was going to cultivate after causing untold destruction…
The others just looked at him, speechless, the sequence of events were so random they had a hard time catching up…
But before they could speak up..

The atmosphere turned a pallid grey hue, the stench of death filling everywhere, and then, green particles started flowing freely from the atmosphere..
Life essence…
The skill {Life Drain} had been activated, and with that, all the life essence from the vanquished demons, it didn't matter if they were nothing but blood mist right now, their life essence was still to evaporate, and so, {Life Drain} made sure to pick them all..
With one technique caging the escaping life essence, the other {Death Origin Sutra}, Immediately flared to life, converting all the gathered life essence into pitch Black Death essence..
At this point, the others, Leon, Damien, and Cassius had distanced themselves from Raiden, they could all feel it, should any of those black cloud like substance touch them, it would spell doom…
"This narcissistic bastard just keeps getting more ridiculous" Leon's teeth were gritted…

Meanwhile, once all the death essence were gathered, Raiden immediately circulated the {Death Aura Refinement Technique} to its fullest, dragging all of that death essence into his body..
The results were immediate, his skin turned grey and turned into ash, drifting away with the wind, his muscles next, then his bones, his entire system started dying and withering visibly..
The human body was never meant to contain the raw essence of death itself, and Raiden was experiencing it fully..
But he didn't panick, with {Pain immunity} making him oblivious to the pain, and {Undying} rapidly restoring him, his focus remained unchanged, he kept circulating the technique…
Going through death and rebirth continuously until his trait {Undying} became provoked, once again flooding his body with so much vitality that death was overpowered, and so, the essence could only flow to it's intended destination, his prana(aura) heart…
The moment the death essence came into contact with his neutral aura it's transparent and clear appearance changed…
It took on a darker hue, the clear rings surrounding it spun faster and faster until they started turning black..

The moment all ten rings attained that pitch black hue, his aura gave a dull muted glow, and then came Althea's acknowledgment,
