(Alex Pov)
"You see Miranda after looking through all the memories of every single being has ever come into contact with the megamycete"
Alex says as he Waves his hands at the endless bookshelves that surrounded them.
' I found out some truly Interesting things like the fact that the progenitor virus was something really widespread for the longest time. It can be found in the genomes of almost every single thing on this planet.'
' The only reason why I could figure this out is the fact that the megamycete records genetic information alongside consciousness.'
' From there , it was just a lot of comparing and contrasting that information. I also find it funny that the megamycete is the same as there are tons of dormant pieces of it all over the entire planet .'
'Also that a lot of Myths of gods and humans fighting giant creatures might be true one way or another. It's all so interesting humans really are products of their environment, same with every other animal.'
' But it does make a lot of sense after all, people like Albert Wesker and all other resident evil protagonists/villains and their abilities didn't come out of nowhere.'
'I was really lucky that miranda sent those statues after me otherwise I wouldn't know how to deal with excess energy and information and I probably would've cracked my mind and soul again.'
'Nothing I wouldn't heal from quickly but still it would be irritating Instead because I already knew how to use all that excess energy I've pushed my mind body and soul to greater heights without showing any outward signs .'
'I can now manage nine Partition's and use thought acceleration to accelerate my thoughts about a thousand times their usual pace which is reflected on the Partition's.'
'Although it does fuck up my perception of time a little bit It's so useful right now because I realized I was thinking too rigidly what i'm using is , technically not thought acceleration , at this point.'
'As I'm using it too , basically to accelerate my mind, body and soul together.'
'Making sure I don't have to deal with being an infant or childhood by accelerating my growth as well as pulling a Kars by making sure my genome also has every other useful piece of DNA encoded into it that I can find in this piece of the megamycete.'
'That's part of the reason why I'm currently using this piece of the megamycete I have Under my control , as basically a signal Receiver/booster that I then use to hijack the frequency the megamycete communicates with to start awakening all other pieces over the globe and taking them under my control so I can get all the information they have as well.'
'All of that information is a gold mine for combat experience because I have thrown one of my Partition's inside of a mental world that stimulates things to fight up against while also limiting the amount of power it can use to normal human levels without self improvement. '
' The experience has made me appreciate Good Hunter even more because at this point I have gotten bludgeoned, shot, stabbed with knives, eaten burned alive and more although I don't really think it's that painful but it did make me angry.'
'And that's with me making sure to fully synchronize with the Partition Meaning, I feel everything it does as it fights for it's life Including all of its emotions like the fear of death from every single time it dies and gets revived and anger it's Insufficient skills
that led to those deaths.'
'After all, the entire point is to gain combat experience as well as to refine my control so I can teach those without self supremacy to do the same .'
'But things seem to be going quite well on that front. It only took hundreds of years and Thousands of deaths to achieve some very interesting things.'
'Dying of old age was a different experience. I did expect it to happen after all. I designed the mental world to be realistic so the body I have designed in it ages as well.'
'That's part of the control exercise you have to mold your body to be immortal and to make any and all improvements on it through bodily control.'
'Although it is really maddening when I get really strong and die and have to start again from the very beginning , even if the previous experience helps me a lot in regaining that strength again as well as killing everything in my path.'
'Everyone else who's going to go through this is going to hate me by the end of it but when they do get to the end of it , that means that they achieved its purpose being able to take any normal body and mold it to slay god-like entities on their own without any outside help.'
'Although I'm pretty sure they'll have an easier time than what I'm doing right now. As i'm doing the equivalent of bug fixes, except the bugs are the entire world and what's in it. because I have to make sure all experiences can be utilized properly.'
'And they will be able to team up together as well. Though that will come with its own difficulties as they will have to be prepared to travel in a group including food and other supplies.'
(AN: The entire point of this Is that these experiences can be used in the real world as well for self improvement And it's not just limited to the body :) )
'They're lucky , i'm allowing them to do this otherwise they would have to deal with everything on their own , which is not so easy to do because of the other factors aka the natives.'

An older , more battle-scarred Alex is pinned to the ground by numerous swords running through his body with one great sword running straight through his heart.
Around him is a coalition of Hundreds of knights all in different colored armor red gold black blue and white
They're armor was also covered in Runic Symbols that could barely be made out because of the Blood ,dents and cuts that now marred their surface.
Surrounding them was a Mountain of corpses made of their comrades that now littered the entirety of the field around them.
They were all panting and one of the golden knights raised up his sword to declare victory.
As Alex starts pushing himself up as he does , so , he relieves all muscle tension in his right hand and Yanks it back allowing the sword going through it to pass through his flesh like it was butter at the same time , the action completely takes off his middle finger.
Alex laughs as he does so blood flowing freely tensing his body up In an Instant He then pushes himself up completely tearing all of the swords out of the ground.
With none of the swords budging , because he's tensed up his muscles to such a degree that they can't move an inch and stopping the blood flowing from his wounds.
Alex then reaches for the great sword, buried in his heart and pulls it out. He's not worried about his heart….It stopped functioning without his help a while ago because of the strain he put it through in the earlier fight.
Alex says as he points at the lead golden knight, his grin widening showing his blood stained teeth.
"That was a really good fight for a bunch of back stabbing traitors."
As he charges at the golden knight His subordinates try to stop him. A blue knight being the first to try, however Alex reaches for the sword in his gut and pulls it out and cocks his arm back, throwing it as fast as possible.
The sword moved in the blink of an eye going straight through the blue knight's throat where a weak spot in his runic plate armor was.
As Alex then snatches up the body And uses it as a battering ram and shield combined together In his left hand while holding the great sword In his right cutting down all who got in his way.
"You know , I wouldn't be so angry right now if you had the decency to stab me in the front instead of the back."
Alex said as he changed his grip On the blue knights, body grabbing it by the leg And then whipping it around and smashing the skull of a Red knight open Blood flowing freely like water from his helmet as he then slashes the great sword forward horizontally at blinding speeds cutting five knights in half instantly their blood and guts flowing freely and staining the grassy field even more.
Alex then tries to take a deep breath on pure reflex and immediately feels what a mistake that was as blood starts to fill his lungs, forcing him to cough it up he pushes through it and flings the blue knight's corpse like a Frisbee of death Killing tens of his fellow knights from the force of the throw.
He then tenses up his muscles and pushes out the swords that are embedded in his body using pure muscle control to shift his organs, making sure the swords did not do any more damage on their way out.
"You know, before I die I'm going to kill you Leonard but I really do wonder how exactly you convinced the rest of them to go along with this but it doesn't matter anymore."
Alex says as he tightens his muscles again so the wounds from the swords that pierced him are forced closed.
He then widens his stance, gripping the great sword with both hands, holding it level with his chest.
' Whelp looks like I'm about to die again, so let me try something new. I think I've got two swings in me using this.'
Alex takes a deep breath, ignoring the blood in his lungs and all other physical sensations. Focusing solely on that breath his body and sword.
Veins swell up all over Alex's body as he swings, his sword vertically in front of him once and then swings horizontally In a less than a second.
The effect is immediate as massive blades of compressed air shoot forward.
The first Blade Splitting every single person in half in its way , reaching the lead golden knight in an instant all of them falling in half organs and blood everywhere.
The second blade then swept through the knights like an unstoppable wave, cutting hundreds of them in half at once from the waist down.
'So it worked, gathering every last bit of energy from my body, and as I swung the sword every all of that energy was focused on the edge without losing energy and then releasing it the moment I swung. I'm glad I only tried this now, otherwise I would have just torn my body to pieces if I tried doing this three hundred years ago but man was that fun.'
Alex thinks as he stands there covered in blood and surrounded by corpses as the great sword crumbles in his hand and he smiles dying standing.
With the leftover knights staring at him in awe and terror.

' Oh , that's right, I need to continue my conversation with Miranda. I got lost in my memories there for a second.'
"I have come to the conclusion that humanity will destroy the Earth and themselves and that's boring so I'm going to drag them kicking and screaming into a higher level of civilization."
Alex watched Miranda's face shift as She Processed his words Recognition , being the first thing that crossed her face Then understanding.
But Alex could tell she was hiding a mounting fear and dread toward him which he could care less about.
"That's my plan , and that's what you're going to help me with."
Alex says with a soft smile on his face waiting for Miranda to respond.

I hope you guys like the chapter.
I'm feeling a lot better even if not the best right now.
And this is just for those who are curious the reason why Alex only has nine Partition's It's because of the mental world.
If you couldn't tell he's trying to make a complete mental world , one where things live ,die and evolve.
For example in the flashback the knights Alex was killing were his own men that betrayed him and Ambushed him.
While he had no weapons or armor on his person for those of you wondering , why exactly he wasn't wearing armor.
But the main point of the mental world is to get one of the rid of one of the most glaring weaknesses in an overpowered character.
Their reliance on the thing that makes them overpowered or strong as it reduces you in all ways to the level of an average human , not counting your previous experiences.
You have to basically tear open an entirely new path to power by relying only on yourself and no external help , not even things like luck
And if you don't , you die over and over and over again until you do.
And this is a little hint , there's a lot more than just physical strength at play here aka people.
