(Miranda Pov)
Miranda watched as those infected Humans gathered together protecting themselves from the infected wildlife car sized Insects, forests and plants that devoured all things that came close.
How they grouped together to hunt the wildlife she watched as they hunted down a house sized bear that glowed orange a color she noticed that was on most of the infected humans and wildlife as well so she decided to ask Alex , what it meant.
"What do the colors mean? I've been seeing them this entire time.I know what the black means."
Miranda continued as she shifted the way she was holding Eve's book , putting it under her left arm to point out the humans that had a black outline on them with her right hand
"It's the megamycete. What do the orange, blue, and purple mean because I know that they represent a virus of some kind or something that infected them and improved their bodies."
She said as she moved her finger to point at each of the colors she was talking about.
Then she looked at Alex, noticing he was smiling before he started to explain.
"The orange represents the progenitor virus So I know you have an idea of what it Does so i'm not going to go over it but the blue from what i can tell, it's an ancient virus that came from ants and other Insects It mainly increased intellect while moderately increasing the strength of the body also giving those also gave them the ability to combust their blood."
Alex continued.
"The purple though Is another virus That seemed to be active in almost all species of fish at the time and it only seems to affect genetic stability when the compatibility was high enough to activate it but when that happens, it leads to an overwhelming increase in regeneration ability and a significant increase in physical ability With little cognitive decline this is a mutation that mainly allowed the people infected with it to live for close to four hundred years funnily enough , though , now the virus can only be found in a specific species of fish."
Miranda then watched as cracks formed on Alex's face only to be instantly repaired as he continued on as if nothing happened waving his hand making the screen fast forward stopping at specific points.
"But there was a problem , high genetic compatibility with a virus did not mean high genetic stability and it also led to reproductive isolation as certain viruses reacted negatively to one another creating abominations out of the offspring , a potential pairing could make It all really depended on luck but what does this mean is that they constantly were having to kill off the ones that mutated."
She watched as the problems Alex was talking about started to affect the infected humans such as uncontrolled mutation like the people with the purple virus bloating up their skin turning a slick gray color and seemingly becoming aquatic.
She watched as several other infected humans hunted the mutated one down with the progenitor infected humans being the ones to pin it down as they let the humans infected with the ancient ant virus burn it alive with the mutated creature flailing animalistically against their grip.
As it's regeneration, tried to keep up with the flames burning it over and over and over again and when it finally stopped they let go and watched it turn into ash.
With some of the ancient ant virus infected humans becoming more ant like overtime growing exoskeleton/chitin armor and their heads deforming growing mandibles and Intenai.
She watched as these ones were also hunted.but unlike the other ones before it put up more of a fight , burning down a good chunk of a forest and killing two of the infected humans before dying.
She watches as progenitor infected also mutated Into grotesque balls of flesh or monsters and how they were hunted down as well , like the rest.
But then she started seeing what made her heart clench as a woman was crying over a deformed ball of flesh as she gave it mercy then she saw the same woman holding a healthy child.
And so she watched as eventually the group grew with what was left of the original group of infected, guiding their children and descendants; multiple conflicts occurred over this period of time , leading to the exile of multiple people.

He thinks as he starts tearing into his face with his fingers using his nails to tear at his flesh and when they broke he continued Until his hands and face were nothing but bone except his eyes
And yet he still reached up and tore out his own eyes. The last site he ever saw was the tube in front of him and the axe embedded next to it.
' Who am I again? What's my name?What is it? How can't I remember my own name? Why does everything feel so cold? Why can't I see did I succeed?Did I destroy it no no no No No No I did not Nothing will stop it now hahaha.'
He starts banging his skull against the ground over and over and over again with each one me accompanied with the sound of bone crunching until it stopped with the sound of bone crunching and cracking open revealing what's inside killing him instantly

Miranda then watched as those exiled humans banded together and formed their own tribes with them for the first time encountering uninfected humans and when they noticed they weren't as strong , they enslaved them.
Miranda then looked to the side and noticed that the grin on Alex's face got larger to which she mentally shrugged ' The poor fool from earlier is probably dead or whatever was happening was fixed.'
' He didn't really go into detail about what was going on but if somebody did something , they're probably dead by now.'
Miranda then stopped paying attention to Alex and focused her attention on the screen and how things kept on getting faster with thousands of years , passing in an instant seeing the rise and fall of civilizations With them surviving multiple extinction events
As she watched , she realized that the humans were losing the abilities from the virus because of genetic drift , but every once in a while , those genes would activate.
Leading to people doing supernatural feats and being called heroes demi gods or gods as they fought against the massive infected wildlife and mutated humans.
Miranda , then watched as a massive meteor appeared on the horizon falling down towards the supercontinent.
