Silas arrived at home and dragged his body inside.
When he entered the living room Viktor was watching one of his shows… again.
But he was so into his show he didn't even realize he was standing behind him.
"What a guard you are." Silas said.
Viktor jumped and turned around.
"Ma… master? You scared me. I didn't realize you were home."
Hearing this Silas shook his head.
"Well, I'm going to bed." With that he started to walk towards the stairs.
Then Viktor seemed to have remembered something.
"Wait! Master…!"
Silas took a few quick steps.
"No, I don't want to watch your show."
"Wait. Master it's not that, Cessian and Gregor called me."
Silas stopped and turned around.
"What?"
Viktor nodded.
"They wanted to speak to you but you weren't home."
Silas rubbed his neck.
"What did they want?"
"Master, they said that they had spotted a Volturi member sneaking around."
Silas furrowed his brows.
"So?"
Viktor hesitated.
"Well… master you killed all the guards they sent out last time after Cessian and Gregor, they've not gotten back any information…"
"They are probably wondering what is going on."
Silas sighed.
"Yeah, did they kill the scout?"
Viktor shook his head.
"They wanted you to make the decision."
Silas turned around again and walked upstairs.
"Leave the scout alone and let him report back so they can send some more guards, that way we can kill them thus weakening them."
Viktor grabbed his phone.
"Alright master."
…
Silas had disappeared upstairs.
Viktor called Cessian.
"Viktor?" Cessian asked.
"Yes. I've spoken to the master, he wants you to leave the scout alone so he can report back."
Cessian on the other end looked confused.
"Did he say why?"
"He wants to weaken the Volturi by drawing out more members here." Viktor explained.
Cessian on the other end had a surprised expression. How smart!
"Alright, tell the master we will do that."
Then he hung up.
Viktor glanced at the phone. No goodbye? Rude.
He then threw the phone aside and started the TV again.
Let's see who Sara chooses this time. Heheh.
…
Silas who was upstairs heard the obscene laughter coming from downstairs and sighed.
This vampire… is he real?
After insulting Viktor in his mind he laid down on the bed and crashed.
…
Cessian put away the phone and Gregor, who was reading a book opposite him, raised his head.
"What did the master say?"
Cessian shook his head.
"I spoke to Viktor who relaid the masters orders."
Gregor frowned.
"Who does that bastard think he is? Crimson Night was a long time ago."
Cessian shook his head.
"Don't get bothered by him. The master said to leave the scout alone."
Gregor closed the book in frustration.
"Why!?"
Cessian was displeased.
"Don't question the master…"
"It's because he wants to lure more Volturi here to kill, thus weakening the Volturi as a whole."
Gregor stretched his lips thin.
"Sorry… and of course the master thinks further than us."
Cessian nodded.
"I agree. The master knows what to do."
Gregor picked up his book again.
"What should we do now then?"
Cessian leaned back and looked at the roof.
"Let's just wait, take it calm."
Gregor nodded and opened the book.
"Let's do that."
…
The weekend passed in a dazed way.
Silas spoke to Alice on the phone and she told him about a baseball match next week.
Of course he was invited. And… he was going to win, if the trio don't interrupt them.
When Sunday arrived he was tired of the slow days.
I must say I hate the weekends, they're so boring, I just sit at home and roll my thumbs.
Silas pondered as he was about to sleep Sunday night.
The next morning Silas, who had just woken up, dragged himself into the bathroom to take a shower.
A few minutes later he was done showering and all dressed.
He made his way to the kitchen to have his dry, boring, bleak and… improperly made sandwich.
I've always eaten sandwiches like this, unless you go over the top and fry them in a pan, etc. They will always be dry and bleak.
Disgusting things, really.
After eating the sandwich Silas put the plate in the sink and made his way outside.
It was time to pick up Alice, they had a baseball match to discuss.
She didn't say the date… so I'm in the dark.
He put the car in drive and headed off.
As he rolled down the road he got a bad premonition so he slowed down.
Just then he passed a hidden police control that had a laser.
"Damn! That was pretty close…"
Silas watched the police car parked behind some trees making it hard to see.
He then turned down the volume. It wasn't fun anymore.
The rest of the ride was just Silas riding in near silence.
When he arrived at the Cullen house he honked his horn.
A minute later Alice ran out.
She hurried over and got in the passenger seat, when she got in she sat on her knees on the seat and leaned over to give Silas a kiss.
After a long kiss she sat down normally on the seat.
Silas smiled and put the car in drive.
"Aren't you happy?"
Alice smiled sweetly.
"Yeah, I've missed you."
Silas reached out his hand and grabbed hers.
He felt a little embarrassed at her being so blunt.
Alice saw this and smiled, she reached out her other hand and grabbed his arm, then pulling him over and placing a kiss on his cheek.
"No need to be embarrassed."
Silas glanced over but didn't say anything, just released the brake and rolling forward.
Alice didn't mind.
As they turned out on the country road Silas asked her about the baseball match.
"When were we going to have the baseball match?"
Alice who had just found the radio station she needed, leaned back.
"It's on Friday, in the afternoon."
Silas nodded.
"Is Bella gonna come?" He asked even though he knew she would.
Alice nodded.
"Yeah, Edward is gonna invite her."
Silas turned onto Kate's neighborhood's road.
"Have you talked to Kate since Friday?" Alice asked.
Silas shook his head as he parked in front of her house.
"No, she usually just sends me texts, but I haven't talked to her on a phone call."
Alice frowned.
"Maybe we should invite her to something… 'cause she just sits at home the entire weekend."
Silas nodded.
"How about we all go to Port Angeles this Wednesday?"
Alice smiled.
"Yeah, let's do that."
Just then Kate walked over with her backpack still half hanging off her shoulder.
She opened the back door and got in.
"Hello, you two." Kate said as she shoved her heavy backpack into the seat beside her.
"Hello." Alice and Silas said in unison.
Silas put the car in drive and rolled off.
...
Enjoy. Mwah~
