After dropping Alice off at her house he drove home.
The death of those two really ruined his night.
He and the girls were having a good time, then he encountered their death site.
Albeit one of them was alive… but for how long?
I don't think he'll make it…
The conspiracy community lost two good members this time.
When he arrived home he saw Viktor on the couch like usual.
"Are you still watching that reality show?" Silas asked as he walked up behind him.
Viktor was startled and turned around.
"Master! You scared me."
Silas shook his head in slight disappointment.
"Are you really a vampire?"
"If so, as a vampire how can you be so relaxed and watch brain killing media like this?"
Viktor was emberassed and scratched his head.
"Sorry master, I can't help it, these series are just too good, I can't extricate myself."
Silas heard that and gave up, he turned around and headed for the stairs.
"Yeah, yeah, you're an addict, I get it."
Viktor was stunned for a second.
"Master, no, I'm not an addict, I can quit watching whenever I want."
As Silas walked up the stairs he casually said.
"Then quit right now."
Viktor shrank back.
"But I don't want to, master."
Silas at the top of the stairs turned around with a mocking expression.
"Ha, yet you have the guts to say you aren't addicted."
"Even crackheads are more honest about their addiction."
Silas walked into his room and closed the door, he didn't want to see this idiot one more second.
Viktor, still in the living room, sighed and sat down on the sofa.
"Am I really addicted?" He whispered to himself as he looked down at his hands.
He then looked up at the TV and at the paused show.
"No! I'm not… I simply like these reality shows… and even if I was addicted, it isn't a bad addiction."
He reached out and grabbed the remote.
"I can quit whenever, yes, I just choose not to."
Silas back in his room laid down and fell asleep quickly.
Today has been way too taxing, first school, then port angeles, shopping, dinner, death of alien hunters… too much.
The next morning he woke up refreshed, and ready to take on yet another day.
Silas took a quick cold shower, and then looked through his new clothes for an outfit.
Since Alice wanted him to buy these clothes she must also want me to wear them.
He tore off the price tags and then put the chosen clothes on.
When he came down he saw Viktor laying in a decadent position and watching TV.
What a loser.
Silas walked into the kitchen and made himself a dry sandwich and poured some juice.
As he was eating he got a message from Alice who asked him if she could come over after school.
She also said she would help with the sorting of the clothes.
So Silas of course agreed, who would say no to free labor?
When he finished eating he headed out to his car.
On his way out he also told Viktor to leave before he came home.
He can't have this guy at home with his loser crap, he is like a walking embarrassment.
Viktor said he would leave before he came home from school and come back tomorrow.
It actually wasn't that important, as long as he wasn't embarrassing him in front of Alice.
A few minute long car ride later, and Silas arrived outside the Cullen house.
After a quick honk, he leaned back in the seat.
He barely had time to close his eyes before the door opened and Alice rushed in.
"Hello!" Alice said as she stormed in and gave Silas a kiss on the cheek.
"Hello." Silas said and grabbed her.
Does she think she can just take advantage of me?
He leaned in and took a kiss, this time on the lips.
Alice smiled sweetly in response.
Silas didn't bother to turn off the car when he arrived so he just put it in drive.
It's 2005… no one really cares about the environment, it isn't like the future where it's like a hip and designer idea.
You can not like it, but you can not be without it.
Silas looked over at Alice and asked.
"Was the only reason you wanted to come over to sort my clothes?"
Alice smiled mockingly.
"Of course, someone gotta do it, and I find it so fun to do." Her voice was practically dripping with sarcasm, especially on that last part.
Alice then laughed.
"No, I did get my hands on something…"
Silas's interest was piqued.
"What is this something?"
Alice smiled and reached into her bag.
Silas narrowed his eyes, and internally thought.
Now she just whips out a knife and stabs me repeatedly in the neck…
Silas kept one eye on the road, and one on her hand in the backpack.
He felt like she was taking ages taking out whatever was in there.
A second later she pulled out a rectangle like object.
That… isn't something that you can… ahem, you gotta be very brave…
Alice with a sweet smile held up the movie keep case.
Silas took a quick look… a dvd?
After a closer look he realized it was a Harry Potter movie.
"This is the new Harry Potter movie, it's the fourth one."
"It has just been released and I thought we could watch it."
Silas unconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.
What was I thinking, not my sweet Alice…
Silas nodded.
"Sounds good."
Alice put the keep case back into her bag.
"You do have a dvd player, right?" Alice asked.
Silas thought for a second.
"Yeah."
Alice nodded.
Just then they pulled up in front of Kate's house.
She was already standing there, like usual with her oversized backpack.
Kate wobbled over to the backseat and got in.
"Good morning, Kate." Silas and Alice said in unison.
Kate was surprised by the unity and it took a second before she responded.
"Good morning."
Silas started to drive, but as they rolled down the road.
"Kate, how are you feeling?" Alice asked.
Kate was confused.
"What do you mean?"
Alice looked back.
"About yesterday?"
Suddenly what Alice meant dawned on her.
"It's fine, I was a little shaken up last night, but after a good night's sleep, I'm okay."
Alice nodded.
"That's good to hear, but if you wanna talk about it…"
Kate nodded.
"I know."
Silas felt the mood was getting a little low, so he turned up the music.
"No need to feel down, it's a beautiful day."
The rest of the car ride passed in a much happier mood.
And soon they arrived at the school.
But looking at the parking lot, something seemed off…
As they drove across it they soon realized what was different.
Two police cars were parked in front of the stairs, and the teachers and police were leading the students towards the gym.
Silas frowned and parked the car, and then they quickly made their way over.
What could this be? This didn't happen in the original.
Kind of… exciting.
