Alice sulked all the way out to the car.
"Why do we have to abide by this stupid curfew…?"
"We already know its vampires… I'm not scared of a vampire or two."
Alice muttered as they sat down in the car.
Silas smiled.
"Well I'm not scared either, but if there was no curfew I would still drive you home."
He clicked the start button.
The car roared alive.
Alice pouted.
"And why can't I stay over?"
Silas put the car in drive.
"I'm a gentleman, a man and a woman staying all alone in a house together… that's a very ambiguous situation."
Alice let out a mocking laugh.
"Ha, if you say so Mr. Gentleman."
Silas shook his head, stopped the car at the turnout and leaned in close.
Their noses nearly touching, Alice could feel his warm breath.
"Are you in a hurry?" Silas asked.
Alice snapped out of her thoughts.
"What?"
"Are you in a hurry?" Silas repeated himself.
Alice still didn't answer.
Seeing this Silas kissed her and then moved his right hand onto her thigh.
Alice froze.
It was all just too sudden… sure they had kissed before, and hugged, but they hadn't been sexual.
This was new territory for her.
Feeling Silas move his hand inward from the knee region, Alice steeled herself.
Just then Silas separated his lips from hers then sat back down in his seat and drove out onto the country road.
The rest of the car ride was very quiet, Alice was too focused on Silas's hand to start a conversation.
And Silas was also too focused on Silas's hand.
This resulted in a nice and quiet car ride, with slow slight atmospheric music.
A few minutes later they arrived outside the Cullens.
Both felt slightly regretful. Couldn't the car ride been slower?
Silas removed his hand and glanced at Alice unbuckling her seatbelt.
But just as she reached for the door handle she stopped.
She turned around, put her knees on the seat, then leaned in and gave Silas a kiss.
When they separated she leaned in close to Silas's ear and whispered.
"I'm not in a hurry, but… I do love you."
Before Silas could answer she gave him another kiss and ran out.
When he came to his senses Alice had already slipped inside.
He sat there for a few seconds, reminiscing the residual touch of her lips.
In a daze he took his foot off the brake and started to roll away.
Just then a thought crossed his mind.
It seems… this time I was outmaneuvered.
Even knowing this, he couldn't stop the smile spreading on his lips.
Just then he turned out onto the country road.
Glad I was…
Just when he came to that conclusion blue lights flashed behind him.
Looking in his rearview mirror he saw a familiar police cruiser.
Silas couldn't help laughing as he pulled over to the side.
He put the car in park and turned it off, then waited for chief Swan to knock on his window.
Sure enough, a few seconds later he heard a knock on his window.
He rolled down the window.
"Hello Chief."
"Yeah, hello kid."
"What are you doing out? It's curfew."
"Also don't come with some bullshit about not knowing, I remember seeing you in the gym."
Silas smiled.
"I wasn't about to give you some bullshit, sir."
Charlie rolled his eyes.
"No? Are you not a teenager?"
Boy… don't I have news for you?
Silas felt his lips twitch.
"Yes sir."
Charlie leaned in.
"Then what are you doing out?"
Silas smiled harmlessly.
"Me and my girlfriend watched a movie, and forgot about the curfew, so it dragged over."
"But I still had to drive her home."
Charlie looked at him in silence for a few seconds.
"Your girlfriend is Alice Cullen, right?"
Silas nodded.
"Yes sir, they lived just over there, you know." He said and pointed slightly behind them with his thumb.
Charlie sighed and looked at the road for a second, thinking.
"I know, I also know you're a good kid. I won't make things difficult for you tonight, but remember to abide by the curfew in the future."
"Yes sir." Silas responded.
Hearing this Charlie smiled and tapped the ledge of the car window.
"Alright, have a good rest of your evening."
"Will do, sir."
Then Silas rolled up his window and started his car.
Looking in the rear view mirror and seeing Charlie drive away, Silas also started to drive off.
Meeting no other law enforcement Silas soon returned home.
Stepping out of the car Silas was met with an excited shout.
"Master, you're back!"
Silas frowned and looked over at Viktor who had just walked out of the house.
"What are you doing at home?"
"Didn't we agree you would come back tomorrow?"
Viktor halted for a second.
"But… Miss Alice isn't here, so I thought I could come back."
Silas closed the car door… that makes sense. NO!
Turning towards Viktor he frowned.
"How did you know Alice wasn't here?"
Viktor's smile froze.
"Have you spied on us?" Silas asked.
Viktor swallowed.
"No, of course not master."
Silas walked towards him.
"Then how did you know?"
Viktor looked around nervously, then sighed.
"Yes… I did spy."
Silas narrowed his eyes.
"What if me and Alice were doing something private?"
Viktor quickly waved his hands.
"Master I was just worried about you, I'm not some voyeurist, I would of course not have kept watching."
Silas stood right in front of him.
"Of course not…" He said sarcastically.
Viktor felt that his mouth was dry.
"You will have to be punished for this transgression." Silas said as he rubbed his chin.
Viktor stepped back and fell to his knees.
"Have mercy, master!"
Silas thought for a second before an evil smile spread on his face.
Seeing this Viktor felt bad.
"As punishment… you aren't allowed to watch tv for a whole week."
Viktor stared at Silas in disbelief.
That's worse than beating him.
"Master, please rethink! I… I would rather take a beating."
Silas shook his head and walked inside.
"No, I've already decided, no changing my mind."
Even after Silas closed the door and Viktor sat there on his knees, alone.
He still didn't stand up.
He looked up at the night sky and saw the twinkling of the stars.
A single tear of venom rolled down his chin.
He tightly gripped his pants, trying to hold in his intense emotions.
I… I regret it, I truly do.
...
Enjoy. Mwah~
