I was about to move from the place, when he held my hands and said, "wait"
I looked at him,
Keifer: "Jay, I am sorry that I shouted at you, I was already occupied in my mind and when they came and said that I just lost, I am really really sorry for that" he said sincerely
I stared at him and did not reply,
He started again,
"I want you to forgive and we both will participate in the event and win the trophy for our club" he said expecting a smile from me,
I did smile after, he said, "So friends?"
I smiled and nodded and asked, "Does that means can I go back to being myself around you?"
Keifer: "Yes and I mean what I said that day if you need help call me"
I nodded and said, " you do know being myself includes flirting with you"
He just gave me a chuckle.
Keifer: "so did you forgive me?"
Jay: "Only if you get me a ice cream"
He smiled and said, "Okay, come let's go"
I was shocked he accepted so quickly, but o was happy that he tried to earn my forgiveness and honestly it was my fault too, we went walking to get ice cream and we both got one and settled down.
Jay: "So, why you did not want to participate?"
Keifer: "Well, I already have a lot in my plate, I have to take care of my studies, my freelancing jobs, my brother and the club and any other job if it opens up"
Jay: "You do many jobs?"
Keifer: "Well yes I have to pay the bills but it's mostly freelancing so I can work according to my schedule"
Jay: "I am sorry I pulled you into this, I just thought, I know I am going sound silly I wanted to spend some time with you and also David said you are really good at singing and playing the guitar and also you like doing it and haven't touched the guitar in a long time because you got busy"
He nodded and said, "Yeah, I do love playing guitar and singing but I don't have time" he said ignoring my I wanted to spend time with him part.I was little annoyed he did that but i did not want to push him.
Jay: "So when can we discuss about the songs and practise, we do not have much time the event is on Friday, we only have 3 days"
Keifer: "I do not want play the guitar, can we just sing alone"
Jay: "Fine"
Keifer: "Also David said that you have stage fear?"
Jay: "Yeah, I do I get anxious when I go on stage"
Keifer: "Do you have anything that will calm you down?"
Jay: "Honestly, I don't know"
Keifer: "Okay, we will see about that, also how does David know all these things about you and also giving informations about me to you, when did you guys get close?"
Jay: "Are you Jealous?" I asked grinning
Keifer: "I was just curious"
I shrugged at him,
Jay: "Can we sing Minamahal?"
Keifer: "Fine, when do you want to start practise"
Jay: "Whenever it's fine with you"
Keifer: "I am free for 2 hours now, shall we ?"
We went to the music room in uni and it was empty because all the classes are almost over.
We both settled down next to each with a mic and started practising and to be honest I really liked being with and it was a great opportunity and I mostly admire him during our practise, he knows but totally ignores that and I flirt in the middle and we don't know how the 3 days went and it was the day of the competition.
I was totally nervous and freaking out, and he came looking so perfect like he was meant to be on stage ,
Jay: "No,No I don't want to go to the stage, can you please sing alone?"
Keifer: "Jay, you got to be kidding, our performance is next, there is nothing to be afraid of, okay?"
Jay: "But what if I slip and fell?"
Keifer: "You will not, you can hold my hand and look into my eyes while singing, if you are afraid of looking like the crowd"
Something calmed in me when he said that and I nodded.
Keifer: "Come, let's go" he held me and lead the way and my entire body calmed down when he did that, does he posses some kind of magic?
It was our turn to enter the stage, he went first and o have to follow after a few seconds,
He came and held my hand and led my way to the stage and I could hear the crowds cheering for us but I just focused on him and we both were singing together.

It was like confessing my love to him while holding his hands and looking into his eyes and in that moment all I ever wanted was to be with him.
We finished our performance and everyone clapped, we went to our seats and it was time for the announcement of the winner,
I was really hoping it would be us and
They announced, the winner is, "Entrepreneurial club - KEIFER AND JAY JAY"
I practically jumped from my place but what happened next is what stopped my world,
Keifer hugged me, he hugged me first, I know he hugged me in excitement, but it was more than that for me and I hugged him back taking it all in and he finally realised what he did and pulled back and muttered a shy sorry and I knew in that moment that maybe, maybe I have a place in his heart.
We both went and collected our trophy and came back to our seats.
