Jay's PoV
He definitely knows how to make me smile, after that 2 days passed, I received a text from Keifer saying that he is downstairs,
I quickly ran towards him, he was there smiling with flowers in his hands and I went and jumped on him he caught me in a hug and I finally felt home and kissed him and pulled away and he gave me the flowers.
Jay: "So, How was the meeting with potential investors?"
Keifer: "It went really well, I think they are in"
Jay: "Yeahh, So Watson enterprises is going to start soon?"
Keifer: "yes, Ma'am, but we still need official confirmation"
Jay: "You will get it, I know you can"
Keifer: "Hopefully"
We both settled in his car,
Jay: "So you are going to be my CEO boyfriend" i said and he laughed
Keifer: "You know I missed you so much, I know I have been busy by my thoughts were still around you, I know you fell in love with me first but I think I love you more and can't wait to start my life with you, once everything gets settled in"
Jay: "Is this a proposal Mr Watson?"
Keifer: "No but I want to do it soon but for now have this" he said and handed me a pendant
Jay: "Help me wear it " he helped
Keifer: "Do you like it?"
Jay: "I love it" and I kissed his cheeks.
Keifer: "That's all I get after 2 days?"
I chuckled and gave him a kiss.
After that I went inside my house and my mom stopped me,
Mom: "What do you think you are doing?"
Jay: "What?"
Mom: "You are roaming with that Keifer, he is just behind you for you money, don't you understand"
I got angry when she said that,
Jay: " Don't you ever talk about him like and for your information He will never want me just for my money, he is not like you"
I said and she slapped me,
Mom: "Don't talk to like that and I have fixed you marriage with the Heddrix's heir, You both will be getting married soon"
Jay: "Who the hell are you to fix my marriage, I will never get married to that stupid"
She slapped me again.
Mom: "Go to your room, you are not going anywhere and You will get married to him"
I did not cry I went to my room, I sat down and made a decision, to run away from my house tonight .
Because I know if I stay here one more day, she will get me married to some kind of stupid, So I tried calling Keifer first because I had to let him know about my plan, I called him but he did not pick up,So I decided to pack my stuff first.
I packed my things and tried calling him again, but he did not pick, I though maybe he is just busy, So I decided to go his house. I waited till it was midnight, I took my bags and silently came out of my room,I came through the back door and I some how managed to escape the securities.
I was on my way to his house, It was really dark, So I was scared but I finally made it to his house, I went towards it and noticed it was locked, I panicked and I called him again and there was no answer, I went behind his house to see if anyone was there, but no one was there, I tried calling him again, but that's when I noticed I was being followed by My mom's securities.
I managed to hide from them but I got really scared, because I know if they catch they will get me married immediately, I prayed and tried calling him one more time, and thank God he picked up
Jay: "Hello Keif, where are you?"
Keifer: "I had something important to take care of, why?"
Jay: "I am in your house, My mom's securities are following me, I ran away from my home, they are trying to get me married to someone"
Keifer: "Why did you leave your house in the middle of the night? Just go back"
I was shocked when he said that,
Jay: "Can you please come and get me, they are trying to get me married to him "
Keifer : "Jay, listen I am busy right now, I will not be able to come"
I couldn't understand why he was talking like, it seemed like he wanted me to return.
Jay:" Please, understand I ran from my house, they are following me, if they get hold of me they will get me married"
Keifer : "Jay, I cannot do anything about that , honestly I don't have time and I cannot care about you right now, please don't involve me in this mess"
My heart broke when he said that, how could he says that he did not care about me and claim that he still loves and I started to question did he even love, or was I blinded by my love for him. He was my safe space my love, how could he say that. Tears started to pour from my eyes,
Jay:" Did you even Love me?"
And the line goes off and I broke down in tears in that exact place but I was determined not to go back home.
So I somehow escaped and managed to catch a bus and move to a totally new city and start my new life with a new name.
PRESENT:
Jay: "And that's how I ended up here, in a new city, with a new name and I did not realise that he also moved here and that is the person you saw that day" I say wiping my tears
Sara: "So Mark Keifer Watson, CEO of JJ Ltd is your ex? And he left you in the middle of the night?"
I nodded while crying and she hugged me,
Sara: "What kind of asshole does that but why did he came begging to you that day?"
Jay: "Even I don't know why he did that, But whatever the reason is, I don't want to meet him ever again"
