Jay's Pov
David said he will show is around while Keifer was still sitting, So both of us stood up and David went first, followed by Sara and then me, but I stood holding the door handle because something in me stopped, I turned around to see his back for a minutes and a question screamed in me,
" Why did you do that?"
Maybe he noticed my moment and was about to turn around so I quickly left.
I went out and David led us, he showed us around and The office was actually enormous with elegant infrastructure, I think he took his time and actually made a effort to look into these things, A small smile creeped in my face.
David was explaining and talking in the front and we were following him, then I felt like someone was starring, Then I heard someone say, "Sir, If you look into this we can finalise "
I turned around to see Keifer standing with his staff with a bunch of file, I saw him for a minute how he has changed in the past years, He was grown into a more matured man and his shoulders have gotten a little more broad but his face was still the same the one I fell in love with.
But it's doesn't matter anymore and I quickly turn and shift my thoughts.
He shower us our cabin and It was suspiciously across to one the CEO's cabin.
David: "Okay that's it we are done, hope you guys liked and I think it will be a pleasure working with you guys"
Boths of said "Thanks" and just nodded
David finshed showing the office and both Sara and I left from there, I reached my apartment and I freshened up and settled in my bed and I don't know the tears started pouring in eyes, but I couldn't stop crying.
The next day I got ready and the company said they will provide for our transportation and when I went down there was car in waiting and I got in the car and reached the office.
I went inside the office and went to my cabin and took my seat, I was able to notice Keifer in his cabin but I decided to ignore that, and my work started,then David came in
David: "Is everything alright? Do you need anything?"
Jay: "Everything is fine but I just need details about the approval for the building, I need that file"
David: "Okay wait a minute"
He goes and brings the file and I start working on it.
Keifer's Pov
I watched her go around the office and I could partly see her face and tell she was little impressed with the building, I kind of did this building with her in my mind, Like how would she want this office, Hopefully I have done a good job.
I was watching her, then suddenly she turned thank god I was saved by my employee with a bunch of files.
And obviously I made her cabin near to mine because I can see and admire her all the time.
After the rounds David came and updated me that she has left.
David: "So are you okay?"
Keifer: "Why are you asking?"
David: "Because I saw how she reacted when you accidentally touched her"
Keifer: "That's a valid reaction for what I have done to her and to answer your question, I am better than I ever was because even though she hates me now, I can atleast see her face daily and know she is safe, so I am happy and also I will earn my forgiveness"
He chuckled and left because he knows me.
The next day also I came a little early and waited in my cabin for her to come, I was little excited to meet her and after sometime she came and setlled in her cabin but she did not look at my side, I was a little annoyed, Maybe its the Karma for pushing her away from me during our college day when she was always following, Now I know how she would have felt.
Then after few minutes I called David into my cabin
David: " What do you need?"
Keifer: "Just go check on Jay and ask if she needs anything"
David just gave me look and nodding his head in a No, before leaving my cabin and going to hers.
After few minutes he came back and said
David: "She is fine, Happy now ?"
I nodded my head with a smile.
He smiled back looking at me, probably thinking I was crazy.Then he went out.
After few minutes, I don't know when but I drifted off to sleep.
Jay's Pov
I was working, then I needed approval from the CEO a.k.a Keifer, I sighed and called David.
Jay: "Hello David I need an approval from the Director"
David: "Ja- I mean Ashtine Can you go get it, I am in the middle of something"
Jay: "Bu- " before I could continue the call went off.
I sighed and went to his cabin, I knocked and went inside only to notice he has slept in his desk.
Weird I have never seen him sleep in daytime that too in the middle of work, What do you know Jay - People change.
I didn't know whether to wake him up or not, So I just stood there few minutes starring at him, then I moved out and called
David.
Jay: "He is asleep, should I wake him up?"
David: "No No No, Don't do that"
Jay: "Okay" I said calmly and I don't know why he is all riled about waking him up from his sleep, Maybe he will scolding for waking him up?
I couldn't understand but I did not think much about it and went back to work.
