Jay's Pov
I quickly tackled him and we both fell and I was on him and in that moment I just wanted him to be safe. I was holding onto him so tight and my eyes were closed
Keifer: "Jay, it's okay nothing happened, We are safe" I opened her eyes slowly, only to meet his, Our faces were so close, And for a moment I saw the old us but What was weird was I saw the same love in his eyes. Am I imagining things now?
Jay: "Did you get hurt?"
He nodded a no before smiling . Why the hell is smiling now?
Then I realised how close we were,
I quickly got up from him and he saw my scraped knee and said to take a day off, I have him an unbelievable look,
I mean who the hell takes he days off, just because they scraped their knee.
After that we went to the office and started working on our project, In the middle I had to discuss something regarding the project, I went to his cabin, Only to notice he was talking to some woman and she was having her hands on his, That sight infuriated me, I don't know why, Here I was a fool thinking I saw love in his eyes, Maybe I am an idiot.
I immediately left the place, even when I heard him call me. What does he think of himself.
I came to my place and settled down and was murmuring to myself, That's when Sara came,
Sara: "Hey, what happened?"
Jay: "Nothing"
Sara: "you sure? You doesn't seem like it"
I nodded and said, "Come let's go for lunch"
We went and settled in the canteen, and these 2 guys from yesterday came towards us smiling, I got irritated and was about to ignore them and That's when I saw Keifer and David enter the cafeteria. I smirked,
Jay: "Hey, Guys come sit with us" I called them when they were about to do that, I did that purposefully because I wanted to irritate him after what he did.
All 4 of us sat in the table and David and Keifer sat in the table beside us and looking like lost puppies but I did not care.
I was chatting with the guys in front of me and laughing at them even though it wasn't funny.
Sara was also following my lead.
I notice by the corner of my eye and I see him, He looks like he is getting jealous, but why Is he jealous, he was the one who was chatting and smiling with her, Now he comes here and behaves like this, What an idiot.
Noah: "Hope everyone is treating you well"
Sara and I nod with a forced smile.
Ryan: "I think we should go out sometime, What do you guys think"
Initially I was about to say no, But then I saw Keifer's expression, It was like he was about to burst, So I decided to have my fun.
Jay: "Sure Let's do it"
Ryan: "Okay, then can we exchange our number?"
I did not think they will ask for our numbers, but it's okay since they are just my colleagues, Maybe I can cancel after giving any reason.
So we exchanged number and then I suddenly heard David's shouting "AahHh"
All of us turned towards him and that's when I noticed, Keifer was holding his hand so tight, I think that it almost became red, I totally enjoyed his reactions.
Then after lunch, we went to our cabin and started working, and I don't know how time went and it was time to leave but I wasn't done with my work, So I decided to stay back, but most of them left and after sometime, the office became empty and I was still working,
I completed my work and noticed the time it was 10:30, Shit it's too late. I quickly packed up my things and moved to the lift.
The lift was about to close but it got opened, someone pressed it I got annoyed, because it was already late and I was hungry, I looked to see who it was and Of course it is him, Keifer.
Because apparently Universe has nice timing of playing games.
He saw me and was hesitant to enter the lift but I moved and gave him space because it was his office obviously.
He slowly entered and stood next to me,
He looked like he was trying to speak but I did not mind but he started,
Keifer: "Why are you still here? It's late"
I gave him a look, why would I stay here? To stare at his face.
Jay: "I had some pending work to do"
He nodded and was about to speak again but we reached the floor, so I left the lift immediately,
I went out only to realise it was pouring heavily and I did not have and umbrella, even if I did I won't be able to walk because it was raining with such heavy force, Shit I won't be able to even get any cab, what am I going to do.
That's when I felt someone next to me,
Keifer: "it's raining heavily come I will drop you"
I turned to him,
Jay: "No thanks, I will book a cab"
Keifer: "Please don't be stubborn, No one will come in such heavy rain, I know you don't want to come with me, Just think of me as the company service car. I cannot leave you alone, just like this."
I looked at him and what he said made sense, because the possibility of me getting a cab is very low in this situation, So I nodded and suddenly a smile formed in his face and he quickly went to get his car.
