Keifer's Pov
I was really happy when she accepted to ride with me, I got excited like a little kid. We started in the car and of course It was difficult to drive but I didn't care because the more time it took, the more time I will get to spend with her.
I noticed her looking at me and I too turned and our song played and all the memories came back to me, and we were looking at each other and I knew exactly what was going on her mind, I was about to say something but she quickly turned away from me, I realised she started crying in silence and I was the reason behind it and I hated every second of it. I reached my hand to console her but then I realised that I have lost the right. I slowly retrieved my hand and started driving in silence while wiping my tears.
We reached her apartment and she got down and I was trying to move my car but it was difficult and that's when I heard a knock on the window, It was Jay, she called me to her apartment, at first I declined but Actually I did not have any other option, So I went.
When I held her umbrella, the two of us were so close, and I inhaled her scent which I missed for years, it felt like a piece of me was coming back, She moved immediately once we entered and I chuckled a little because of her reaction.
We entered her apartment, It was cozy and it smelt like her, I don't know why but it instantly put a smile on my face, I was standing in the entrance, she went inside and came back with towels for both of us, I took from her and said, "Thanks", I started drying my hair with it, that's when she suddenly said,
Jay: "Give me your shirt?"
I was shocked and I started to stutter,
Keifer: "Ahn Wh-at ?"
She sighed and rolled her eyes before replying,
Jay: "I don't have change of clothes for you, If you give me you shirt, I'll put it in the dryer"
I let out a breathe after she said that,
Keifer: "It's fine, I me- " I stopped mid way because she was giving me a look, I got scared and started unbuttoning and she turned her head when I did that, I smiled when she did that, I removed my shirt and handed it towards her,
Keifer: "Here"
She looked at me and her cheeks turned red when she saw me and I was internally smirking by the effect that I had on her still, I don't know why but it built a little confidence in me.
She came back and I started talking,
Keifer: "You didn't have dinner right?"
Jay: "Yeah, I'll make something now " she said and moved towards the kitchen.
I called her,
Keifer: "Can I make you something?"
Jay: "No it's fine, it's my house anyways"
Keifer: "No please I want to, as a thank you for having me here and also for the morning, plus you got hurt while saving me"
Jay: "I told you, I would have done it for anyone and I couldn't leave you stranded in the rain, I am not cruel"
Keifer: "I know but please" I asked her in a pleading way and that made her agree and she lead me to the kitchen.
Jay: "What all do you need now?"
I said the ingredients and she laid them out for me. While I wore the apron over my vest.
I started cooking her favourite dish, stuffed mushroom and white sauce pasta, It is one of the things she liked very much when I make this for her, To be honest I wanted to use this chance to impress her, She was standing next to me and helping me a little, In the middle both of us moved in the same direction, but I turned to get something and I did not realise she was behind me and she got hit in my chest and my hands instantly held her due to the sudden friction.
