Chapter 8 - Chapter 12-13

Chapter 12 – Conquering the Digital World

February 12, 2014 – The Next Strategy

Jacob Stewart sat on the sofa in his Los Angeles hotel suite, holding a cup of coffee and watching Lucky, his new black Labrador puppy, playing with a rubber toy on the floor.

He still couldn't believe he had a dog. Ever since Ellen DeGeneres surprised him with Lucky on her show, Jacob felt his life had taken another unexpected turn.

"Do you realize I've never had a pet?" he murmured, looking at the puppy.

Lucky, as if understanding, let out a small bark and jumped onto the sofa, lying down beside him.

Jacob smiled and scratched behind the dog's ear.

It was at that moment that his cell phone rang. He looked at the screen and saw the name Richard Calloway, his agent.

"Hey, Richard."

"Jacob, you need to create an Instagram account."

Jacob frowned.

"Instagram?"

"Yes, it's a new social network that's still in beta, but it's growing fast. Many influencers and celebrities are already joining, and I guarantee that if you join now, you can become one of the most followed profiles."

Jacob laughed.

"Man, I barely know how to use Twitter properly."

Richard sighed.

"You don't need to be an expert. You just need to post photos, interact with fans, and show a little of your life off-screen."

Jacob hesitated for a moment. He still wasn't fully used to fame. The idea of exposing his personal life to millions of people made him a little uncomfortable.

But then he looked at Lucky, who was now lying down with his tongue sticking out, and smiled.

Maybe it was a good idea.

"Okay, Richard. Let's do it."

With the help of Richard and a social media expert hired by the agency, Jacob created his Instagram account.

@JacobStewartOfficial

The first step was choosing a profile picture.

"It needs to be something striking," Richard said.

Jacob opened his phone's gallery and found a photo a photographer had taken of him backstage at Good Morning America. He was in a suit, looking at the camera with a half-smile.

"This one."

Richard nodded.

"Perfect. Now, we need the first post."

Jacob looked at Lucky and had an idea.

He picked up his phone, took a selfie with the puppy lying next to him, and smiled at the camera.

Then, he added a simple but meaningful caption:

"From the street to Hollywood. Now with a partner by my side. Meet Lucky! #JohnWick #NewJourney"

He pressed the "Publish" button and put his phone down.

"Now we just wait?" Richard laughed.

"My friend, you have no idea what's going to happen."

Jacob didn't have to wait long.

In less than an hour, his account already had over 100,000 followers.

Comments were pouring in every second.

"This guy is amazing! What a wonderful story!"

"And that dog? John Wick's new best friend!"

"I was already looking forward to John Wick, but now I'm going to follow this guy forever!"

Celebrities also started commenting.

Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans): This dog is officially the luckiest dog in the world. Welcome to Instagram, Jacob!

Gal Gadot (@Gal_Gadot): Lucky is beautiful! Happy for you, Jacob!

Vin Diesel (@VinDiesel): Soon you'll have more followers than everyone else, bro!

Jacob was impressed. He knew he was becoming famous, but seeing so many people engaging with him in a positive way was surreal.

In less than 24 hours, his account was already among the most followed on Instagram.

And it had all started with a simple photo of him and Lucky.

In the following days, Jacob began posting more photos and videos.

He shared behind-the-scenes footage of John Wick, showing fight training and action scenes. He also posted photos of leisure moments with Lucky, such as walks around the city and playing in the park.

Each post attracted thousands of likes and comments.

The hashtag #JacobStewart became a trend on Instagram.

Fans began calling him "The Man Who Defied Destiny," a reference to his journey of overcoming adversity.

With his success on Instagram, brands began to contact him.

Fashion companies, watchmakers, even dog food manufacturers wanted Jacob to promote their products.

Richard called him one day, excited.

"Jacob, you already have offers for advertising campaigns. We're talking million-dollar contracts!"

Jacob blinked, incredulous.

"You're kidding..."

"No way. You're a public figure now, and brands want to associate your image with authenticity and overcoming challenges."

Jacob took a deep breath.

"I never imagined that posting a photo on Instagram would bring me contracts."

Richard laughed.

"Welcome to the 21st century, my friend."

Jacob closed some carefully selected contracts, ensuring that everything was aligned with his public image.

But he knew that, deep down, all of this was only happening because he had dedicated himself completely to his role in John Wick.

When he lay down that night, Lucky sleeping at his feet, Jacob reflected on how far he had come.

Just a year before, he was alone, struggling to survive.

Now, he was one of the most talked-about actors in Hollywood, with millions of followers and opportunities he had never imagined.

And most importantly… he finally felt like he belonged somewhere.

He closed his eyes, smiling.

This was only the first phase of his new life.

The best was yet to come.

Chapter 13 – The Man in the Suit

February 15, 2014 – An Irresistible Offer

Jacob Stewart sat in the meeting room of his agent Richard Calloway's agency in Los Angeles. Since his Instagram account had exploded and his popularity had grown daily, he had already received several offers for advertising campaigns and commercial partnerships. But, according to Richard, none were as significant as the one he was about to hear now.

The office had a modern, minimalist design, with glass walls that provided a panoramic view of the city. Jacob gazed at the skyscrapers while Lucky, his black Labrador puppy, slept beside him on the leather sofa.

Richard entered the room holding a tablet and a wide smile on his face.

"Jacob, you're about to enter another level."

Jacob raised an eyebrow and leaned forward.

"What do you mean by that?"

Richard tossed the tablet onto the table. On the screen was an email with the logo of one of the world's most prestigious brands: Giorgio Armani.

Jacob blinked a few times, trying to understand what was happening.

"Wait… Armani?"

Richard smiled.

"Yes. They want you to be the new face of their suit campaign."

Jacob blinked again.

"Armani wants me as a suit model?"

"Exactly. They loved your style in John Wick. You wore suits throughout the film and made it look incredibly natural. They want to capitalize on that and make you the new face of their men's suit line."

Jacob was speechless for a few seconds. Never in his life had he imagined that one of the world's biggest fashion brands would want to work with him.

"This is… unbelievable."

Richard laughed and sat down across from him.

"It's totally unbelievable, but it's real. They want you for a global campaign." Billboards, magazines, commercials… The whole package.

Jacob ran a hand over his face, still trying to process it.

"Man, a year ago, I barely had clothes to wear. Now, Armani wants me to wear the best suits in the world?"

Richard nodded.

"The irony is incredible, isn't it?"

Jacob chuckled, shaking his head.

"That seems surreal."

Richard smiled.

"But it's real. And I've already scheduled a meeting with Armani executives for tomorrow morning."

Jacob took a deep breath and nodded.

"Then, let's do this."

The next day, Jacob arrived at Armani headquarters in Los Angeles, an imposing and elegant building, reflecting the brand's sophistication. He was wearing one of his black suits, a gift from Chad Stahelski after the end of filming John Wick.

Richard accompanied him, reviewing the final details before the meeting.

"Be confident, but natural. They already want you, so this meeting is just to formalize everything."

Jacob nodded.

"Understood."

They were led into a luxurious meeting room, where a group of executives awaited them. Among them was Lorenzo Ferrara, Armani's creative director for international campaigns.

Lorenzo stood and shook Jacob's hand with a genuine smile.

"Mr. Stewart, it's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"The pleasure is mine," replied Jacob.

They sat down, and Lorenzo began the presentation on the screen.

"As you must know, Armani has always been synonymous with sophistication and style. Our suits have been worn by major Hollywood stars for decades. When we saw you in John Wick, we knew immediately that we needed you for our next campaign."

Jacob smiled slightly.

"And what exactly do you have in mind?"

Lorenzo clicked to change the presentation screen. Conceptual images appeared: Jacob in an impeccable suit, walking through a rainy city, adjusting his tie in a luxury hotel, holding a glass of whiskey next to a sports car.

"We want to capture the essence of the modern man," Lorenzo explained. "Sophisticated, powerful, but with a touch of mystery. You represent that perfectly."

Jacob analyzed the images and nodded.

"This looks incredible."

"It will look incredible with you as the face of the campaign."

Richard interjected.

"Let's talk numbers."

Lorenzo smiled.

"We're offering a $5 million contract for the global campaign, with the possibility of extension depending on performance."

Jacob almost choked on his own breath.

Richard smiled slightly, satisfied.

"That seems fair."

Jacob looked at Richard, who gave a discreet nod. He then looked back at Lorenzo.

"I accept."

Lorenzo smiled and extended his hand. — So we have a deal.

They shook hands, and Jacob knew that this was another step in building his new future.

A few weeks later, Jacob was in Milan, Italy, for the campaign photo shoot.

The studio was gigantic, with dozens of cameras, lights, and a huge team adjusting every detail. The best photographers in the world were there to capture what would be the new image of Armani.

Jacob wore a bespoke black suit, the perfect tailoring highlighting his imposing posture.

The lead photographer, a Frenchman named Marc Delacroix, analyzed each pose.

"Jacob, look at the camera, but don't try to look serious. Just… be serious."

Jacob nodded, adjusted his tie, and looked directly into the lens.

The click of the camera echoed through the studio.

"Magnifique!" exclaimed Marc.

The photos continued for hours, each pose capturing the essence of the campaign.

At the end, Lorenzo approached Jacob and showed him one of the photos on the monitor.

"This… is the image of the new face of Armani."

Jacob looked at the photo and felt a shiver run down his spine.

There he was.

No longer a man without direction.

Now, he was an icon.

And the journey was only beginning.
