Chapter 15 - Chapter 26-27

Chapter 26 – Jacob Stewart: The New Hollywood Star and Gun Master

January 2015 – The World Discovers Jacob's New Hobby

Jacob Stewart was already used to the spotlight. Since John Wick became a worldwide phenomenon, he was always in the news, on social media, on magazine covers.

But that January morning, upon waking up and grabbing his phone, he realized the topic of the moment was something else.

He scrolled and saw the headlines from the main entertainment and extreme sports websites.

The Hollywood Reporter

"Jacob Stewart surprises by competing in the USPSA – Will he be the first major Hollywood star to master sport shooting?"

TMZ

"Real-life John Wick? Jacob Stewart enters the world of practical shooting and fans go crazy!"

ESPN Extreme Sports

"Jacob Stewart isn't just an action star – He's competing for real and taking it seriously!"

Jacob blinked a few times, opening one of the articles.

"John Wick star Jacob Stewart was spotted participating in his first official USPSA competition last weekend. Images and videos show the actor displaying impressive skill with competition pistols, moving with precision and speed among the targets. According to sources close to him, Jacob has become addicted to the sport and intends to continue competing while balancing his Hollywood career. Could we be witnessing the birth of the first movie star to also become a shooting champion?"

Jacob laughed and ran a hand over his face.

"I knew this was going to happen."

On the other side of the bed, Lucky, his black Labrador, yawned and looked at him sleepily.

Jacob smiled.

"Looks like your owner's in the news again, kid."

His cell phone started ringing. He looked at the screen and saw Richard Calloway's name flashing on it.

He answered.

"Let me guess… Have you seen the news?"

Richard laughed on the other end of the line.

"Already?! Jacob, you're on every website on the planet!"

"That wasn't supposed to be a surprise, was it?"

"Of course not. But let me tell you something even better…"

Jacob sat up in bed, intrigued.

"What is it?"

Richard paused dramatically before continuing:

"Gun and shooting equipment brands want you. And it's not a small amount, man. We're talking multi-million dollar contracts."

Jacob raised an eyebrow.

"Seriously?"

"Very seriously. SIG Sauer wants to sponsor you, Glock has also shown interest. Not to mention the holster, ammunition, and competition accessory brands. You've become the definitive male face of sport shooting in Hollywood."

Jacob laughed.

"And to think it all started because I wanted a hobby."

Richard laughed along.

"Well, your hobby has just become a new part of your public identity." You are now officially the first Hollywood star to truly master weapons and compete.

Jacob opened Instagram and saw that his latest post a simple photo of him at the shooting range holding his competition pistol had gone viral.

The comments were endless.

@Chris_Hemsworth: Now that's a real man! Teach me, Jacob!

@Gal_Gadot: Real-life John Wick! Impressive!

@TheRock: Now we have a real action guy in Hollywood!

@CharlizeAfrica (Charlize Theron): If you need a training partner, give me a call!

But the best comments came from fans:

"While other actors only pretend they know how to fight and shoot, Jacob Stewart really does it. Total respect!"

"If this guy joins the Special Forces, nobody can stop him!"

"Jacob Stewart is the definition of real masculine energy!"

"This man knows how to handle a real gun. That's fucking sexy!"*

Jacob laughed as he read the comments.

He hadn't expected shooting sports to generate so much public interest. But now that it had, he knew he couldn't stop.

He picked up his phone and texted Taran Butler, his coach and mentor in the world of shooting.

Jacob: Taran, I think I'm going to need more training. Expectations have risen.

Taran replied in seconds.

Taran: Welcome to the game, John Wick. Now, let's turn you into the best.

Jacob smiled.

He had started this as a simple hobby.

Now, he was about to become a legend of shooting sports and Hollywood at the same time.

Chapter 27 – Armed and Ready: The New Glock Sponsor

January 2015 – The Next Step

The sun shone over Los Angeles as Jacob Stewart drove his armored SUV through the city streets. Traffic was heavy as always, but his mind was elsewhere.

For the past few months, he had immersed himself in the world of competitive shooting, mastering the art of precision and speed in USPSA tournaments. Now, with the Glock sponsorship confirmed and his reputation as one of the few actors truly trained in real combat, it was time to take the next step.

He needed to formalize his gun ownership and carrying permit.

His destination? The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), where he would file the official paperwork to become a legitimate gun owner in the U.S.

Jacob entered the LAPD building, wearing a black leather jacket, sunglasses, and dark jeans. Even trying to remain discreet, he noticed that some people recognized him.

At the reception desk, a policewoman looked at him and smiled.

"You are… Jacob Stewart?"

He took off his glasses and smiled back.

"Yes, that's me."

The policewoman laughed.

"My husband made me watch John Wick three times. He's your biggest fan."

Jacob laughed.

"I hope you liked it too."

"Actually, yes." She winked. "So, what brings Hollywood's most famous professional assassin to the LAPD?"

Jacob placed the papers on the table.

"I came to file my paperwork for gun ownership and carrying permit."

The policewoman took the documents and began to review them.

"Well, you have a clean record, you've undergone extensive training, and you have the support of a large company like Glock… I don't think you'll have any problems."

She looked at him curiously.

"Are you buying a Glock?" Jacob nodded.

"Yes. I tested several guns and liked the Glock more than the Sig. The Sig Sauer is good, but I've seen some of them crack or break. I don't want to take that risk."

The policewoman smiled.

"Wise choice. Glocks are reliable and practically indestructible."

Jacob laughed.

"Exactly what I need."

She picked up a form and handed it to him.

"Fill this out and we'll have everything sorted out soon."

Jacob sat down and began filling out the paperwork, aware that this was another important step in his new journey.

With the paperwork underway, Jacob headed to the GlockStore, one of the largest distributors of the brand in the US.

As soon as he entered, he was greeted by a man in a dark gray suit, who immediately recognized who he was.

"Jacob Stewart, welcome!" "I'm David Riker, a representative from Glock."

The two shook hands.

"We were expecting you. Your sponsorship deal with Glock is a big deal for us."

Jacob smiled.

"Well, then I guess it's time for me to choose my official weapon."

David guided him to a glass counter where several pistols were displayed.

"We have all the Glocks here, but for a competitive shooter and someone who values reliability, I would recommend three specific models."

He pointed to three weapons.

"Glock 17 Gen 5 – The classic, reliable one used by police forces worldwide."

"Glock 34 MOS – Perfect for competitive shooting, with a longer barrel for greater accuracy."

"Glock 19X – Compact but powerful, ideal for both daily carry and competition."

Jacob picked up the Glock 34 MOS, analyzing its weight and ergonomics.

"This seems like the right choice."

David smiled.

"Excellent choice. With a smooth trigger and a longer barrel, it's a favorite among USPSA snipers."

Jacob tested the grip, adjusted the magazine, and nodded.

"Deal. I'll take this one."

David picked up the papers and began processing the purchase.

"Besides the pistol, you mentioned you wanted an assault rifle, right?"

Jacob nodded.

"Yes. I want a reliable, high-performance, and versatile rifle for training and self-defense."

David walked to another section of the store and pointed to a matte black rifle on the wall.

"This is a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7, one of the best AR-15 platform rifles on the market. Lightweight, accurate, and extremely reliable."

Jacob picked up the rifle, feeling its perfectly balanced weight.

"This is the one I want."

David smiled.

"Agreed. Let's finalize your purchase."

The next day, with his new Glock 34 MOS and the Daniel Defense DDM4 V7, Jacob headed to Taran Tactical Innovations to test them.

Taran Butler was waiting for him at the shooting range.

"I see you came well-equipped."

Jacob smiled and picked up the Glock.

"Time to see if this gun is as good as they say."

He positioned himself on the firing line, loaded the magazine, and took a deep breath.

The timer beeped.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

In less than 5 seconds, he had hit five metal targets, all in the center.

Taran smiled.

"Yes, I think you made the right choice."

Jacob quickly reloaded and repeated the process, moving fluidly between the targets.

After several shots and adjustments, he picked up the Daniel Defense rifle and headed to the long-range shooting range.

He adjusted the sights, took a deep breath, and…

Bang!

The shot hit the bullseye from 300 meters away.

Jacob lowered the rifle and smiled.

"I'm ready to take this to the next level."

Taran laughed and patted him on the shoulder.

"You've already leveled up, Jacob. Now you just need to keep mastering."

Jacob nodded. He knew this was just the beginning.

Now, with his new weapons and a sponsorship deal with Glock, he was ready to make his mark on the world of competitive shooting.
